Great property. Room was very cozy and clean. Bed was comfortable and we loved having a little seating area in the room. It was nice to relax in the room or hang around the hotel. It was easy to get around Lake Placid and the surrounding area. It is 15minutes to Whiteface Mountain. There were fun activities at the hotel - live music one night, bar with light food and a fire pit with free smore kits every night. Good value for the price!

Our experience at Eastwind Lake Placid was amazing. I stayed there with a large group, occupying 10 rooms, and from the very beginning we felt truly welcomed. Carolina, who assisted us during check-in, was exceptional—very kind, attentive, and thorough in explaining everything about the hotel and its amenities. She even prepared the fire pit for us so we could enjoy the complimentary s’mores, which made the experience even more special. Throughout our stay, Carolina was incredibly helpful, always making sure we had all the information we needed and recommending great nearby restaurants and activities. Both my group and I were extremely happy with our experience. Her attention to detail and outstanding service truly made our stay memorable.

This boutique hotel was a wonderful stop on our New England tour. It is a great place to be disconnected from the world around you with a sauna, hammocks, and a fire pit. Better than a typical hotel stay. We loved the free amenities (bicycles, sauna, smores kit). Our favorite part might have been the "backyard" portion of the property. It was perfect for a morning walk. Everything is well taken care of. Our only complaint is the lack of a microwave.

Bathroom tile and sink was gross - dirty grout and the windows casting light into the bedroom area woke up my partner. Needs a renovation to block the light. Otherwise a cute property w nice staff and beautiful river behind
