Lovely Place

We had an absolute amazing stay on Aero and at Badehotel Harmonien. Everything was perfect and we and our little god Millie were perfectly looked after. The garden is absolutely beautiful as well. We really enjoyed our time here.

Gorgeous wooden memorable hotel. It has wonderful charm and one of few buildings which has a sea view. We swam a few meters away from steps leading down into the sea water; ate and sipped drinks on the balcony; sat amongst the roses in the garden; read and browsed photographic book oks in the lounge. Breakfast and our host was lively and helpful. This is one of the great island stays of the world and you need to appreciate the creaking floorboards and walk down the hall to a shared bathroom. We are in love with this place.

Beautiful island visit

We arrived at the hotel at beginning of the off season the end of September so there was very little activity at the hotel or in the town of Aeroskobing. We learned that the few restaurants that were open in a Sunday closed at 4 and most were closed on Mondays. Like many others, we missed the fact that the toilet was shared and down the hallway. We had a nice room with a shower & sink and a view of the town. There is no tv in the rooms and the building is historic with many hallways. We did not eat in the dining room but the hotel was well maintained and Monica was very nice and helpful.

This is a very nice place. Hotel owner Monica is very attentive to the guests - we are very grateful! When booking it is important to note that the toilets are shared between several rooms, but we were lucky and were alone in the block, as it is low season.

Das Badehotel ist bereits in die Jahre gekommen und diente vor seiner Nutzung als Hotel, jungen Erwachsenen als Berufsorientierung und Lehrschule. Der typische Aufbau einer Schule ist auch heute noch erkennbar, die Zimmer sind aber allesamt zweckmäßig für Übernachtungsgäste hergerichtet. Der Übernachtungspreis ist aber insgesamt viel zu hoch angesetzt, für das Geld darf man mehr Komfort und Qualität erwarten, nur die außergewöhnliche Lage direkt am Hafen und Innenstadt rechtfertigt einen Aufpreis. Der Service und die Kommunikation war problemlos und sehr freundlich, die Abwicklung über Expedia dagegen hat eigentlich gar nicht funktioniert. Der gesamte Aufenthalt ist daher vor Ort bezahlt worden. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich.

Badehotellet er en fantastisk fin oplevelse. Ejeren kræser om gæsterne i særdeles hyggelige omgivelser. Alt mht. til ophold, rengøring og morgenmadsbuffet er i top. For nogle kan det være et minus, at der ikke er toilet og bad på værelset, men alt det øvrige opvejer dette.

Super service og dejlig rumligt værelse. Hotellet er dog af ældre dato og kunne også godt trænge til lidt kærlighed rent bygningsmæssigt. Dette skræmmer mig dog ikke for at komme tilbage. Det var et skønt sted!

Did not provide breakfast as promised, said it was not an option when we arrived the night before because too few people wanted it. The owner said that they had ‘teamed up’ with a place down the street, as if pointing people to a cafe is the same as providing the service promised here in Hotels.com. There was an old T-shirt in our bedside table. Beds as well as bedding seem to be cheap Ikea or similar and definitely not what you would expect for that price to say nothing of the fact that this place is not worth 1000+ DKK per night regardless of the general price level on the Island.

Smuk forlænget weekend

Vi havde en fantastisk tur til Ærø. Vi opholdte os ikke meget på hotellet, da vejret var så skønt, at vi kun tilbragte de sene aftentimer + natten på hotellet. Der var kun få gæster, så ingen larm.

Et dejligt hotel med synlig og dejlig historie. Personalet er meget venlige og imødekommende - meget serviceminded. Hotelværelset er fint, dog med fælles toiletfaciliteter på gangen. Rengøringen på fællestoiletter er meget fin. Prisen på overnatningen er for dyr, grundet manglende toiletfaciliteter på værelset. Annoncering med fælles bade og toiletfaciliteter bør nok præsenteres tydeligere. Det er vanskeligt at vurdere hvad man booker. Det ville være dejligt hvis morgenmaden var inkluderet i prisen. Alt i alt - trods mine bemærkninger - et rigtigt dejligt hotel med et meget venligt personale.
