Good position. You can easily walk to Taj Mahal. Nice staff. Only the AC was too cold and it could not be switched off.

The hotel is old & smells stuffy. Some areas like lobby & rooms are fine but bathrooms are outdated & old. Looks like some portions are renovated or painted but other areas are neglected & brings the hotel down. The gym is outdated & in poor condition. The breakfast buffet was good.

The hotel was nice. We stayed in a family room and asked for an extra pillow for my daughter who was on a fold away bed and they said they could not give us one, we had to use one from the bed in the room. This was disappointing as all the other hotels we had stayed in previously on this trip had been accommodating with this. The shower facilities were very good - nice and hot at all times of the day. Breakfast was nice and had a range of foods to choose from. Overall, a good stay.

Great Hotel
For what you pay this is a very nice hotel with friendly staff in a quiet (ish) area of Agra. Near enough all the highlights including the Taj. If you are looking for a mid range hotel in Agra we would definitely recommend coming here.

Hôtel plutôt confortable et de bon rapport qualité prix. Les plus sont son emplacement à 20 minutes à pied du taj mahal et proche d’un quartier commerçant. Le petit déjeuner est correct et les chambres sont fonctionnelles. Les moins sont Bien qu’il soit à l’ecard de la rue principale, on entend les klaxons de la circulation une bonne partie de la nuit. Le lit est petit et les pieds dépassaient de la couverture.

Nice quiet room near Taj Mahal
Nice quiet room overlooking the swimming pool. Comfortable bed and spacious room. The hotel was a short (Rs 50) auto ride from the restaurants and cafes in Taj Ganj from which you can walk to any of the Taj Mahal’s gates. Only negative points were that about half the machines and the air con in the gym were broken.

A good deep clean to make the world of difference
The hotel was generally clean apart from the pool and spa area that looked a little dirty in places (on walls, around light switches). Dusting had clearly not been done under chairs in the main lobby and there was noticed clutter in the stairwells. The rooms were ok, beds softer than usual. There was sometimes a noise in the ceiling that sounded like a football was being bounced which kept me awake for a while but on inspection I couldn’t work out where it was coming from. The food we had was very good and prices were reasonable. We always had good service and when frequently asked for more water for the room we were never declined. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly and overall it was a pleasant stay.

Sucks big time... Just believes on making money !
Hotel took booking for smoking room... Did not provide any. Made some foolish statement of non-smoking property which i could not find written anywhere. Staff has tendency or may be target for billing so took me on ransom to pay for non-worthy restaurant. Really .... find some place else !

God service nær Taj Mahal
Howard Plaza er et helt greit hotell, med god service fra de ansatte. Hotellets fellesområder er nylig oppusset, og dette har blitt veldig fint. Bl.a er restauranten oppgradert til det bedre. Rommene derimot er ikke renovert nylig, og dette begynner å synes noe. Gulvet bar noe preg av fuktighet, noe som er vanskelig å unngå i India. Vi er allikevel veldig godt fornøyd med dette hotellet, og kommer til å velge det igjen dersom det skulle bli aktuelt.

Close to the Taj - but that’s about it
Location is convenient to get to/from the Taj Majal, but that also means it is very noisy and the smell of the city (pollution, sometimes sewage) also gets into your room. The terrace bar/restaurant is the most attractive advertised feature, but the hotel failed to indicate it is closed for renovation. Overall the hotel feels very outdated (even the nath towels felt worn) and there Ian nothing charming about the place.

disappointing for 4 stars
very tired around the edges, some of the staff look bored and like they can't really be bothered, the food was mediocre and the rooms really weren't all that great. I expected more for 4 starts.

Zentral gelegen. Taj Mahal zu Fuß erreichbar.
Sehr freundliches Personal. Gute Verkehrsanbindung. Zimmer nach vorne nachts sehr laut aufgrund des Strassenlärms.

Comfortable hotel, clean and quiet room and close to Taj Mahal. My room was directly above the pool, but it closes 8'o clock in the evening, so this was not disturbing at all. Working wi-fi. Good breakfast buffet with okey selection of food I recommend trying the hotel restaurant at the top floor

We went on a busy weekend and most of the hotels were booked so ended up here. This was so not worth the price. I try to find a Hilton group hotel or Radisson and they were in a sold out situation. Only plus point was service. Staff was extremely helpful. Food was totally horrible. Will not stay there again or recommend.

Nice hotel close to the main attractions
Agra has only a few attractions but these few are indeed magical. The Taj Mahal, Agra fort and Fatehpour Sikri are the main attractions. The hotel is a good choice to get out of the madness of traffic.

A éviter à tout prix!
La chambre était mal nettoyée, la douche dysfonctionnait et il n'était pas pratique de l'utiliser, les verres fournis étaient sales, la chambre était très humide, nous dormions donc dans des draps humides (et un lit assez dur) et nos vêtements sentaient l'humidité. Le sèche cheveux produisait des étincelles et à failli nous électrocuter. Par ailleurs, l'hôtel fait assez vieux, la piscine était fermée pour travaux sans même qu'on ait reçu de message pour nous avertir, l'hôtel donne sur une rue très bruyante la nuit (chiens qui hurlent etc), et l'établissement accueille des groupes et n'est pas capable de contrôler leur niveau sonore même dans les couloirs en pleine nuit.. C'est donc un hôtel au prix d'un petit hôtel français, mais qui devrait plutôt s'aligner aux prix indiens car j'ai dormi dans des dortoirs de meilleure qualité pour quelques euros!

Good hotel in Agra
Food was good. Accommodation satisfactory. A little maintenance would be required to get it up to the 4 star we know in the UK. But a perfectly good hotel and well worth the price.

Superslow service. You have to ask multiple times. Maybe it says more about India than the specific hotel. Facilities out of date. Noisy room. Hard bed.

Rude staff
I stayed there over Christmas time and they tried to charge me for a "mandatory" Christmas diner. I raised hell to the manager about it. Also, staff don't know how to say good morning, thank you, sorry, you are welcome, excuse me...they need a training in manners with international tourist. Finally, internet wifi was not working well.

In a city that boasts many overpriced properties of hotel chains, this was an excellent discovery. The rooms are great, the service excellent and food is fine. The location is excellent as both the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort are pretty close. All in all a very pleasing experience
