“3 room apartment behind gated entrance, very secure. Master bed was full size, good comfort had air conditioning, large room no closets. Spare bed rooms had very firm(hard) mattresses. Trim in bathroom was very homemade with lots of caulk filling in poor fit. Missing grout and poorly painted above tile. Full Kitchen was nice, large new refrigerator. Both pools were nice and clean. “This 2 story rental villa has a great view of Volcan Arenal from the second story. It overlooks a farm with elephant grass used for grazing animals. The location is about 2 km south of the center of La Fortuna, so a car is necessary. It is close to several of the tour outfitters that do canyoneering and rafting. It is initially hard to see on your first visit (look for the Sapiens sign on Ruta 702) because the group of 3 houses are set 70 meters south of the road and accessed via a thin 1 lane...
