Gem of a Stay in Airlie Beach
Exceeded expectations in every way. Beautiful views and very comfortable bed. Bathroom was excellent, even the toilet paper was excellent! Loved my 4 nights in this place.

Belle expérience
L’appartement est superbe, la vue que nous avions était splendide. Tout était presque parfait. Nous sommes restés 7 nuits. 3 petits détails ont fait que l'expérience était comme prévue mais sans cet effet "wow, génial" - il n'y a pas de housse sur les chaises longue à la piscine. Donc ce n'est pas très agréable - il n'y a pas de parasol près des chaises longue mais juste à côté des tables. Malheureusement les parasols ne peuvent pas être bougé. Donc pas vraiment d'ombre près de la piscine. - Il y a un kit de base dans l'appart (sachets de thé, sachets de café - il n'y a pas de cafetière et sucre etc..). Nous avions du café pour 5 jours. Nous avons été demander à la réception si nous pouvions avoir 2 petits sachets complémentaires et elle nous a dit qu'il faillait les acheter au supermarché!! Elle nous en a malgré tout donné un!!! pourquoi pas deux? Un sachet doit coûter max. A$0,50 -, ce n'est pas ce type de service qu'on attend d'un établissement de ce standing. Dommage, ce sont ces détails qui font la différence!!!! - pour exemple nous sommes maintenant dans un motel et ici il y a 13 sachets de café alors que nous ne passons qu'une nuit!

Highly recommended 👌
Very nice hotel apartments and the location is perfect with just a little steep walking distance to the town center and beach. Great view from the apartment windows and balcony where you can overlook the beautiful turquoise sea.

Customer service lacking
Property was okay. Spacious and comfortable. Cleanliness could be improved: there was a dead moth in our room and dusty surfaces. Also the pool was growing algae. There was no one when we checked in or out. And I found out my debit card was authorised before we arrived for their convenience as we weren’t there, I asked them to release this immediately and take another card but no one bothered to come back to me that first day. Also upon arrival I had to roam the property to find someone to help as they send me an email to tell me no one would be there, completely ignoring the fact that if you are from abroad you might not have internet, and hence didn’t read that email. The guy I found to assist wanted to charge me again for a deposit! At night there is a lot of noise from bands/singers and it kept us awake. It’s quite overpriced for what you get overall.

Hi Kika, we had a conversation regarding this. It is clearly written on all of our booking channels that there is a 200 pre auth to be taken on arrival. As you were not here during office hours we had no option but to use the card we have on file. We text your phone number and emailed you to notify you that this was happening and what our lockbox code was. Usually you would be somewhere that has wifi to enable an email to come through. Had we of known that we were to use a different card that would have been no problem at all. We also emailed several days prior to let you know what our office hours were and what our check in procedure is should you not be here within those hours. As far as a moth and dust is concerned, all of our rooms are professionally cleaned and then checked prior to guests checking in. If there was a dead moth I apologise - however this has obviously happened after our room checks. This is a little out of our control. Music from town - most of our guests love the fact you can hear distant music from their balcony. Perhaps you would be better to stay somewhere away from a popular tourist town.

Very spacious and clean apartment with great ocean view. Also well situated for walking to the town for shopping and restaurants. Bit of a steep climb back but keeps you fit.

The apartment we rented was perfect for two couples, which can be hard to find. The complex is up the hill from the main part of town has an amazing view with a great pool and spa area. The apartment itself has all the extra bits (kitchen utensils ails etc) that make a stay more convenient.

I was impressed with a property I stayed at Reflections. View from the balcony is to die for! Apartment is clean with modern design furniture and fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. Staff was always helpful with all my requests. Close to shops. As it is located on a steep hill I recommend to take a cab back to the property if you have no car. Definitely coming back!

We loved our stay at Whitsunday Reflections and were incredibly sad to leave. The place was clean, had everything we needed including a full kitchen and the views were to die for!! We did have a car with us thankfully as the hill up to the property is a killer walk, but thats how you get the incredible views! The room was beautiful and felt really private. We would absolutely recommend it to anyone and will definitely be back!

Amazing stay at Reflections
The stay at Reflections was recommended and they stay was amazing. Reception was friendly and the room we had was clean, spacious and with great views. We had one of the newly rooms where we had two bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. All air conditioned in every space. Kitchen was a good size, living area was good. Tv in each room. Balcony had a seating area as well as long beach chairs to lay in the sunshine. We also had a washer and dryer which I always need when I travel. We rented a car which made going around easier. Walking would be do-able but to get to reflections there is a steep road/hill that you would need to go through, would definitely recommend having a car when staying here. Close drive to shops and also to the wharf area where most tours are held. The beds are softer than a firm bed which I prefer but besides that i had a great time with Reflections. They also have tour bookings at the reception desk if you want to book.

Great unit with spectacular view from the huge balcony. Comfortable bed and equipped kitchen. Wonderful, friendly hosts with good ideas what to do in town and in the area. Be prepared to drive up or take a AUD7.00 cab from town since it is a long uphill climb to the place which is the price you pay for that view. Well worth the price.

Fantastic place and location, I would definitely recommend it but please note there is a steep road up to it which isn't too long but you could get a taxi from/to the town centre for around £3 if do don't want to walk!

Spacious & comfortable
Amazing view over Airlie Beach & 1 bedroom apartment was very comfortable and roomy. It is a bit of a walk uphill from town but the views are worth it. Not such great views from the 2 bedroom apartments. Taxi from town was $9- $10. Apartment 17 was the one we stayed in and the only negative would be the lack of privacy at the window in dining room. Guests walking to other units could see straight in through the side feature glass. Could do with additional privacy tinting.

Good apartments with poor management
The apartment is really beautiful, very big and has an amazing view. We felt like the place is really un-managed as we got a very bad customer service and their availability was very limited. We checked in at 6 pm on a mid-week and the reception was already close. Then it was hard to find our apartment and there were no answer to the phone. Also when we checked in, our flight was delayed and we asked for late checkout but they couldn't approve it, Also when we asked to leave our suitcases in the reception, they told us reception they're closing at 12 pm (super early as it was Friday) so we stayed with no solution and actually paid to a place in the main street to store our bag in the meantime. One last thing, the apartments are located on a the top of the hill and 20 min walk from the main road - it wasn't clear when we booked the place.

Thank you for your review, it is lovely to hear that you enjoyed the unit. I am sorry you were not aware of our business hours closing at 5.00pm (as advised on the web page) on the day you arrived. A late check out & the offer to store bags in reception was offered to you, there was no fee for this. Reception was open until 5pm on Friday not 12 noon. Reflections is located 1.2km from Airlie Beach, for some people this would not be a 20 min walk.

Awful, need to climb hill, and no service at all
Awful experience. First, this is not a hotel, it’s an Airbnb. I have stayed there for 3days, I haven’t seen a single staff. I helped myself check in, check out, call taxi, and collect rubbishes as they don’t provide housekeeping service unless you stay more than 8days. Also the location is awful. I need to climb the hill for more than 20mins from the closest restaurant, not to mention from the dock. And I need to carry two super large suitcases get on and off though a super long stair in order to get to my apartment. And there is no one to help as there is no staff and no service. And there is no view from the apartment at all! Plenty of trees has keep the view out of the balcony. So I totally don’t understand why there is so many good reviews for this hotel?! Please be OBJECTIVE! Lastly, with no view, no good location, no service, the room rate is not that cheap. Totally not worth the price.

I am sorry to hear that you were not aware of the type of accommodation property you had booked. We do provide information about our location, hill top apartments, our office hours and when housekeeping service is provided so clients are aware of the services provided. During office hours, there are 3 staff members on duty, anyone of us would have been happy to help with your bags. We are located 1km from Airlie Beach, about 200 m of that distance would be hill. You may have booked a garden view unit, this would be why you didn't have a full ocean view.

A wonderful apartment for our 5 nights holiday at the Whitsundays. Our 1-bedroom apartment was spacious and clean, had everything we needed. The balcony was a bonus to enjoy our coffee or evening wine and watched the boats at the waterfront. The property area was quite quiet, except for the occasional loud and beautiful cockatoos that came to visit us at the balcony. It’s best if you’ve a car to drive up to the property. You can walk to the main town area in Airlie Beach, but it’ll be quite a hike. But the view is worth it. The front desk is very friendly. We left a few small things in the apartment after we checked out and they emailed us about it and are sending the items back to us. Awesome customer service!

Incredible views, large, comfortable apartment
Absolutely loved our stay at Reflections. As others have said, the hill is an exhausting walk up but we managed it daily and the views from the apartment are so worth it. The apartment is so spacious, much larger than others we looked at. Would highly recommend and we can’t wait to return.

The views were incredible from such a high point. Very spacious, huge balcony, great natural decor, felt natural and beachy. Walk down into town was 12 min but we never attepted to walk back up that steep high hill. Was one of the best places ive ever stayed in.

amazing view from room
We had a very stunning stay for 2 nights. Great room interiors and layout with a big balcony. Beautiful view from the apartment. Large living room and good kitchen / laundry facilities. Very friendly and kind staff from China who drove us to next hotel (sorry I forgot his name. He is not tall). I love to recommend to my friends and return for sure.

This was our second visit to Whitsunday Reflections as we are so impressed with this beautiful accommodation. It is everything we ask for - spacious, good quality, contains all the facilities we need and has the most amazing view! As it is situated on a hillside there is a steep walk to the main precinct but as walkers we did not mind this.
