“When we first walked into the hotel room, it had a mildew smell. So it possibly needs to be really deep clean. They should clean the room every day, sweep and change the linens because of the amount of sand that goes through the rooms. Clean the shower floors, possibly add some type of a rug beside the bed and doors and should not ask your guest to take out their own trash. “The front desk staff leaves at 7 p.m., so if you arrive after that, check-in might be a bit confusing. But they do call you in advance to explain the check-in instructions. I arrived pretty late too, but had no trouble checking in thanks to a security guard waiting at the main entrance. The front desk staff was also very friendly when I checked out the next morning. “Location: Great. Right on the main road near UAB Hospital. Grocery and eateries within walking distance. Check-in : Poor. International phone and card holders BEWARE! the managers will not send an information to an international number. The check-in process is not explained clearly and can be an absolute nightmare.
