Birmingham, Alabama hotel rooms at the Loews

"Just as we were getting ready for bed the smell of pot was very strong coming into our room. My husband saw a cockroach in breakfast area."

"Staff was helpful & friendly. Rooms & bathroom were clean & spacious. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast, but it was more than continental that was advertised. There were eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, & potatos & waffle maker. I really enjoyed the coffee machine that made lattes & cappuccinos & such. The pool area was nice. The location was near the interstate & perfect for my needs during the visit to the area. The price was also affordable for a comfortable hotel."

"This was a wonderful stay. The staff was great. Everything was clean. The breakfast was excellent. The evening dinner was great too. 3 free alcoholic beverages per adult. The pool was nice as well. I will stay there again. I recommend this Drury Inn and Suites to everyone."

"Wish I could upload pictures. Bathroom shower mold everywhere, ventilation on wall covered in dirt and hair!!! Smell of mold in the air. Fire alarm missing covers, lamps not working. Disappointed to call this an Embassy experience! Get it together Birmingham!"

"Extremely clean and the room was very nice and larger than most other hotels. Noise from outside in the morning was more than most places especially since there weren’t many people there but overall nice place for overnight stays."

"The staff were friendly and very helpful. The location near the airport was excellent. We left before breakfast so cannot comment on that. Our biggest complaint was that the door into our room dragged so badly on the floor that it could not be opened the entire way. And when we mentioned it the next morning we were told it was a known problem! Why assign us that room then? The hotel did not appear to be full. This the poor rating."
