“Check in could be improved. Arrived to a busy pub with customers waiting for service at the bar and no designated check in desk. Several staff just walked past us with our bags and no one acknowledged we were trying to check in for several minutes. The room was okay but not as shown on our booking confirmation - it was an attic room with very steep stairs and a not very safe landing area outside the door. “An absolute gem! A wonderful authentic pub offering such comfortable and friendly accommodation. The restaurant food is delicious and the full English breakfast is the best I can remember. The village is delightful.. and we were lucky enough to stay a Thursday when there is music, and we also had the best Mortis dancing! Such a memorable stay! Thank you”

“Room was clean except burns in carpets. Flies in restaurant- get a big bug zapper! Staff were superb Dinner extremely tasty except charge for pods which lay empty of £45.00 for 2 hours. Breakfast was lovely Location is great but a lot of road noise all day and night from everything from motor bikes to tractors. Property has 2 windows to counter noise but still prevalent.”
