“We had a lovely room which had a roll top bath in a very big bathroom Staff were friendly and the pub was relaxing. Breakfast was good to set you up for the day It was in a remote area so in the evening there wasn’t anywhere to walk to and other pubs were of driving distance not walkable..”

The room was fantastic, large, clean and really well equipped, the bed was huge and very comfortable, we had a nice view and the bathroom was clean and roomy. “Situated on the ground floor during a heatwave wasn’t great. We were left wondering if all the rooms in the hotel were full and perhaps they could have located us in a room with a window that opened. The young man who served us for the evening meal was very attentive and very polite which was nice to see. Not so the staff at breakfast.”

“Probably one of my favorite UK stays. I booked the morning of as a bit of a spur of the moment decision. The price was absolutely fantastic, the room that I got could not be beat. “I was disappointed with our stay at Gloucester Robinswood Hotel. Check-in was very slow, and there were groups of teenagers hanging around the lobby which didn’t create the best first impression. Our room had no air conditioning, which was particularly uncomfortable during the 35°C heat. When I asked at reception for a fan, I was simply told they had all been distributed around the hotel, so there wasn’t one available. “We stayed one night, good location, nice food/beer garden, good food and drinks, staff was friendly and helpful. We were unlucky that the Wi-Fi and tv didn’t work, not from lack of trying by the staff, they fixed it, and 10 minutes later, stopped working. I would definitely recommend if you’re in the area.”
