"The room was clean enough, but everything was very much bare bones. No air-conditioning and no signs stating that but signs all over the property of what you are not allowed to do. The number of printed out and highlighted signs was actually kind of weird. The hallways had laminate which is convenient for the owners, but very loud for guests when other people are rolling their bags along. The carpet inside my room was a bit concerning with stains all over. It wasn’t really comfortable walking around in bare feet. The bed was clean, but really hard. I was able to crack a window and that helped with the stuffiness. Overall, it’s not really what I would’ve expected for the price. It was cheap, and it felt cheap. I would’ve definitely stayed at the hotel on the hill for $60 more a night. Staff weren’t really very helpful. They couldn’t even tell me where I could fill up a water bottle. I didn’t bother asking for other things. I was curious about. I just didn’t have the confidence that they knew what was going on. I don’t think I’ll be staying here again if I come back to this area."

"I must say that everything about our visit to the Airport Inn was above reproach. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The manager, Bernie, even pointed us in the right direction for dining in Port Hardy. The room was clean, quiet with all the amenities one could want. There is a lovely beach just a short walk from the motel. We will definitely stay there on our next visit to the north Island and recommend the Airport Inn to any and all travellers to Port Hardy."

"Our expectation is low since we’re in a small town. However, at time of check in, one used towel was hanging at back of bathroom door and used coffee left in coffee maker. Check in procedure was ok, it was done in a restaurant in separate building. "
