Room was clean and provided kitchen materials to make breakfast if you buy the basics. Their continental breakfast was $16 each and cappuchino was $5. Dinner was very tasty with a good seafood chowder. White wine was good quality (its Central Otago!) and fair price.... Plenty of space in the room. Hard to regulate the shower volume...always full flow. Comfortable motel, would stay again. Roger.

Had a lovely welcome from friendly efficient Staff. Room was very inviting to walk into, roomy and warm. The only issue was the noise from the plumbing and adjoining rooms. Great location as handy to Supermarkets and centre of Town. We will be back.

Bed was uncomfortable, felt very old. I went to the restaurant onsite for dinner the first night and the chicken parmigiana was awful for the price I was paying. I went to go for breakfast in the morning but they weren't doing a hot breakfast, only Continental. Room was nice, tidy and well maintained and the area was quiet.

Nice, clean, comfortable property with really excellent staff. Currently having a bit of work done on the building, but nothing that detracts from your stay. Only complaint would be that the downstairs room I got was very noisy whenever people walked around upstairs.

The room was compact but clean and tidy. Two bedside fans helped to keep the room cool. Staff were very helpful and friendly. My only concern is the shower floor was slipperry when wet, which I think was hazardous. I believe showers should be provided with rubber, non slip mats. Many thanks Kay

I like the convenience of two supermarkets close by. The rooms were clean and tidy. Able to cook a quick meal for the kids. The fans were going to cool the rooms. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and super helpful. Great place to stop over for the night.

Water wastage

Quiet place but let down by bathroom taps that were impossible to turn off fully, so hot and cold water wasted throughout 3 day stay. Housekeeping should check this before guests arrive as part of their routine.

Very noisy all around us from other guests. Smoking outside our room came in under the door which wasn’t pleasant but the staff were friendly check in good. Room was good apart from nowhere to hang anything!

We thought it was good value for money. It was clean and tidy and the beds were comfortable. Convenient location as well.There were a couple of issues though.It was a very hot day and we didn't realise until after 9pm that the fridge wasn't working. The fridge switch on the wall was on but it wasn't until we pulled the whole fridge out from under the bench that we found the plug into the wall near the floor was turned off. Also no cutting knives, not even a bread knife. Found out later that these are kept at reception and you have to ask for them but how is anyone to know that. Never had that happen before. Both these things occurred later at night when no-one in reception.
