Left outside waiting , no one was at front desk
I booked at around 8pm and drove 3 hours to get to the hotel and the door was locked I rang the door bell for 30 mins and nothing , yelled to get someone attention and nothing , don’t book this hotel with out calling first to see if someone is there working or you will be left outside

Beautiful B&B; away from old town. We walked everywhere - takes about 15-20 mins to Lagos old town. Magaa at the front desk was very helpful. Good breakfast every morning.

Nice hotel!, our corner room with attached bath was clean and comfortable. Though room did not have a window the hotel had a nice view from the top floor. Included breakfast was wonderful the best part was fresh orange juice. Will go back to this hotel:-)

super :) hat Alles gepasst. Waren schnell in der Stadt, und auch am Strand. Man kann in der Umgebung wandern, und auch die Strände sind super schön. Wenn man kein Auto hat, wie wir, kann man in der Stadt tolle Ausflüge buchen. Hat Alles gepasst und tolle Lage.

I think that this hotel is greatly overlooked as it deserves to be more than a 2 star! I loved how it had a nice garden outside our room. It had a very home feel and I wish I would have stayed longer! Very impressive terrasse with a nice viewpoint and game room. The place felt like being in a tropical destination! The room was decent and I liked how it had shampoo/body wash dispensers in the room. For some people who want more space in their room it might be a bit of an issue but I really didnt mind it since we didnt need that much space. It was located in a quiet area and not a far walk from the beach. It was less than 10min drive to the marina so we just took an uber to get there and it didnt cost much (5euros). The free breakfast that came with it was absolutely amazing! It had a wide range of options including eggs with some pastries and fresh fruit (most probably from the garden around). One of the best breakfast I have had! So dont be fooled with the 2 star rating as this bed and breakfast exceeded my expectations!

Good Hotel/Hostel
This place would be perfect if not for the shared bathrooms which did not seem adequate for the number of bedrooms. Also we arrived one hour before check in hoping to store luggage, as with any normal hotel, but were greeted with annoyance, but were allowed to store the luggage. Not a good first impression anyway. Otherwise they’ve done a great job making this a pleasant and fun place to stay. Very nice pool/bar area and two more levels with a recreation room and terrace. Breakfast was great.

Clean room and breakfast ok. But that’s all ... Rooms are very very small. You only get a bed, a toilet and a shower. No good for the price. The owner is also very arrogant... Will definitively not stay there again

Simply dissapointing
We had a really bad experience at this "hotel", and I would recommend that you avoid that the same happens to you by not staying there. For the price we paid, the quality of the room and toilet was very dissapointing, but the worst part is the way the staff treated us. On our last day, it was the hottest day of the year, and we planned to check out and finally enjoy the pool, as we had already done so many times in other accommodations worldwide. By the check out we were rudely informed that we were no longer allowed to stay there as we were "no longer guests". We were also told that "this is not a hotel" and that being a "hostel" they had different rules. Funny enough they announce themselves as a hotel in internet when it's convenient. We could have stayed by the pool by paying extra €10 per person, which is ridiculous considering the abusive prices we had already paid for that "hotel". We left so angry and so dissapointed!

Soggiorno discreto con buona pulizia della camera e del bagno. Servizi igienici rumorosi. Colazione inclusa nel prezzo ma che non prevedeva bis di caffè o di succo d'arancia se non a pagamento. Posizione dell'Hotel molto decentrata rispetto al centro, ma con possibilità di parcheggio.

Good Value Hotel
Stayed there for 1 night. Room was adequately furnished with good wifi access and most importantly very clean. It was a rather chilly night but the blankets kept us warm at night as there is no heating provision in the room. We drove to the hotel so we are not too sure whether the city and the beaches are within walking distance. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise when compared to more upmarket hotels. Fresh orange juice, coffee and bread did it for us. Overall it was one of the better value places that we stayed during our road trip through Spain and Portugal.

Sehr gutes und preiswertes Bettenhausnicht weit vo
Ein sehr gut organisierter Familienbetrieb, saubere Sanitäranlagen gute und preiswerte Küche. Vom Hostel aus geht man 10 Minuten zum Strand. Unendliche Möglichkeiten an Besichtigungen Bootstouren und unvergessliche Küstenwanderungen sind von dort aus möglich. Man kann aber auch im Hostel bleiben, sich einen frisch gepressten Orangensaft von der Bar holen und den Tag am kleinen Pool verbringen..

Very nice Hostel, Magda is the name of the woman who checked us in and she was great. The other staff members weren't as good as she was. Overall very good place with a good location.

Las habitaciones eran cama doble si la pides con baño, y dos camas individuales si son sin baño. No te lo especifican cuando reservas. Me decepcionó bastante el hotel

Cara hóspede a sua reserva foi quarto com casa de banho partlhada. Demos lhe opção para upgrade mas não quiz pagar mais . Nós nao somos hotel somos um alojamento de quartos e pequeno almoco alojamento local.

Petit hôtel fabuleux
Nous avons trouvé cet hôtel très chouet, avec des chambres confortables, un personnel sympathique, d'agréables espaces communs (bar, piscine, terrasse) et un super petit déjeuner plein de fruits, jus d'orange naturels et différents types de pains frais + beaucoup de choix et de variétés de produits dont des petites spécialités portugaises. Très bon séjour:)

Il posto non sarebbe male anche se non si capisce da subito che in realtà è un B&B e non un hotel. Quindi nessuna pulizia giornaliera. Inoltre i servizi come il deposito bagagli sono a pagamento. Colazione ok e la ragazza del bar molto gentile e cortese, più del proprietario sicuramente !!

Das Bed&Breakfast "Ocean View Lagos" ist ein fantastischer Ort um dem Alltag zu entfliehen. Die Zimmer und die gesamte Anlage sind liebevoll und familiär aufgemacht, ebenso spiegelt sich die in der Stimmung und Interaktion mit dem Besitzer, seiner Familie und dem Team. Man nimmt sich Zeit für den Gast und kümmert sich um diesen oder trinkt abends auch mal ein Bierchen mit den Gästen. Eine klare weiterempfehlung, für diejenigen die keinen Wert auf eine Sterne Ausstattung und einen günstigen Preis legen!

The room was basic and rather old looking (old furnitures and curtains). The curtains and the bathroom did not feel the cleanest (e.g. the curtains were heavily covered in dust). The overall room was OK for the price though. The receptionist and I believe also the owner of the place was not super friendly, which was the biggest downside of the stay. The rest was OK.

Unique experience
What a surprise this place was. We arrived and we're greeted with a very warm and friendly staff and owner. They were say helpful and provided us with very useful information. Plus they gave a us a welcome Sangria drink. The pool was very clean and the guest house had 3 levels of outdoor seating that looked out to the ocean. The most surprising was the home made breakfast, where the owner had made all of the bread and the pastries, the best we had in Europe.

Très bon séjour à Ocean view lagos
Très bon accueil à Ocean view lagos, la dame à été très sympathique et nous a donné un plan et tout expliqué à l'arrivée. La chambre était très bien, seul hic au rdc et juste à côté de l'accueil et de la porte d'entrée donc bruyante. Une petite piscine est accessible pour faire trempette, le cadre est agréable. Les petits déjeuners sont délicieux et coûtent seulement 3,50 €, avec jus d'orange fraîchement pressé à la minute et de bonnes choses à manger. L'hôte qui tient cet établissement est aux petits soins.

L'hotel è gestito in forma familiare, abbastanza carino, non troppo lontano dalla spiaggia ma non vicino al centro, circa 2,5 km. Ci sono piaciuti i prezzi delle cose da mangiare e bere dell'hotel, inoltre vi è anche una piscina gratuita, biliardo e calcetto da poter utilizzare a basso prezzo. La camera era piccolina ma abbastanza accogliente. Quello che non ci è piaciuto è stato il fatto che in 3 giorni non si è fatto vivo nessuno per la pulizia della camera o almeno per il cambio delle asciugamani e l'atteggiamento poco accogliente e altezzoso dei proprietari; simpatica e disponibile invece l' impiegata.

Un petit cocon à l'écart du béton.
En vacances à Lisbonne d'abord puis à Lagos nous cherchions un hôtel à l'écart des complexes touristiques et pas trop cher. Nous sommes tombés sur une perle. En effet Ocean view Lagos est un petit hôtel un peu à l'écart des "ghettos" touristiques. Le restaurant y est de bonne qualité, peu cher par rapport aux restaurants du centre touristique (Il faut absolument commander la cataplana concoctée par l'épouse du patron). En résumé: Un petit cocon avec un staff absolument sympathique et serviable. Si nous devons revenir à Lagos, nous reviendrons sans hésiter à Ocean View lagos.
