We booked a family room which had its own ensuite, kettle and mini fridge. The kids enjoyed having a tv in the room.

I liked that we got our own room between the 3 guests. But the lack of car spaces and the noise that other people occured ess terrible. I jaf a group of backpackers smashing up a car at my back door and the noise was ridiculous. And being there with 2 boys and having our race van sit on the streets as 3 places werr wadted eith unregistered car's smashed car and shipping containers. No organization with vehicle's and very inconsiderate people would just park were even and even block people in. Wont be staying again but will be back again next year fir the race.

It's a laid back resort with so many people from around the world to chill with by the pool or to sit at the outdoor areas & chat & walking distance to the centre of town. 😊

Only if you on tight budget
The mattress is old, the floor is very dirty and the aircon is very noisy. Better stay else where. There is no food nearby the area , except Subway in the petrol station opposite the place.

Stayed 3 nights in all, ensuite. AC a bit noisy but working. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Big issue with all internet access down for at least 3 days and the company providing service didn't.

Had a great stay at Havon. Staff was nice and helpful and very nice. Room was spacceous and the AC work pretty goog. No complaints.

かなり暖かい地域ですが、冷凍庫がなく飲み物を凍らす事ができませんでした。 自分たちの部屋のベットの中央部が壊れて沈んでいて一泊だけしか泊まっていないので支障はありませんでしたが、連泊だったらかなりきつかったかなと思います。 それ以外はキッチン用品、部屋の清潔さは良かったです。 自分たちは早く寝たのですが、隣の団体が外出飲んでいて多少うるさく感じました。

Nice but needs some love
Dirty room with cockroaches in it, and AC that only works for 1hr intervals. Initially given the wrong room which was occupied, makes me question security. Otherwise nice fast internet and good facilities including cheap shuttle bus to airport.

At certain times of the year when Alice motels raise rates, then the Haven is comparatively cheaper. Generally the rate is too high for what you get for singles or couples.

Disappointing
It wasn't until the fourth room I was put in that I was able to stay, with the previous three over-booked. I was in the second room for two hours, past 9pm, when another couple arrived and we discovered the staff over-booked. The staff acknowledged the next morning my experience was, in their words, "bull----". They offered me alcohol to make up for it. I would have preferred if they refunded one of my nights' stay. I stayed for two nights in total and had already paid upfront, so I didn't go somewhere else. I will not stay here again. The 'pillow' was a joke. It was holey and such poor material it was like sleeping directly on a mattress. The room stank and was generally unhygienic and the couch on the decking outside was disgusting.

Greit hostell før og etter outback tur. Positivt at man kan lagre bagasjen på hotellet mens man er på tur. Fint med basseng på varme dager. Alt bærer preg av å være litt slitent.

Perfect hostel before/after outback trip
Perfect hostel to stay at before and after a tour to the outback. We had a family room (4 people) which was rather big for a hostel. The room and bathroom were clean, we were able to use the outdoor pool even after we checked out and were even provided with towels at any time we needed them (even after check out). The Haven has a big luggage room where we stored our big bags during our outback tour. They also had WiFi and cooled drinks which you could purchase for a good price.

The stay is cheap but the rooms are very basic and the communal kitchen areas are very dirty but it is a cheap backpackers close to town.

Shared dorms are very cramped. Every one staying there using taking a tour, and hence gets up really early We have shared dorm and double room. Go for the double room. Much nicer.

Nice stoppover before or after Ayers Rock
I was here for two nights after being in Ayers Rock. There is nothing really much to do or see in the city, but the hostel are nice. They have a swimmingpool, a nice kitchen, big place outside for barbeque and sosialicing.

It's hard to imagine a backpacker hostel that doesn't have lockers in the room you can lock your stuff up in. If you're traveling with a camera, iPad, etc your not going to want to leave anything in the room. Place was reasonably clean. Internet was pretty good $5/day $15 for a week. Laundry facility. Em suite bathrooms were a nice touch. Overall ok, but for the locker issue alone I wouldn't stay there again.

Good for the price
We stayed in a private room with a private bathroom and we had no problems. It was good as a cheap place to stay for one night. The staff were really nice and helpful. We only stayed here as a stop for another destination, I wouldn't stay here for my entire trip though.

Only a Youth hostel.
So when U make Ur booking dont forget that! Noisy evenings and sometimes mornings too.That is normal for young people.It was one of the least expensive accomodation available. However Im sure that a little more may have bought me more comfort. Anyway the Alice is definetly NOT a tourist destination. Unless U visiting from some other part of the world of course.
