Lovely location with tiny rooms
Very nice lovely location with a beautiful arranged garden and pool. Rooms are very small and have only limited space for the luggage. Extras for later evening after 7pm have to be organized before. Excellent breakfast and service. Recommended restaurants not as good as described. Sun-umbrellas not movable. Dog shouting during the night.

Stayed for two nights in April. Wish we had booked for longer. Unique and relaxing property in countryside. Special mention for owner who was so helpful in identifying places for us the visit. Would definitely revisit.

Ein wunderbarer Ort zum Entspannen. Poolanlage sehr gepflegt, Frühstück umfangreich und lecker. Zimmer etwas eng, viele Kissen und Zimmer etwas klamm.

The room was really nice, had big bathroom with good shower and a comfortable bed. Also very clean and to a very high standard. Amazing breakfast, I ate so much of it! Stunning peaceful location which felt really safe and the pool was so nice. A wonderful relaxing stay in what felt like total luxury. Staff were also very friendly and helpful. Make sure you drink the gift of port on the first night otherwise the cleaners take it away! We were very disappointed as were too tired after our flight in the first day but had been really looking forward to it.

Fomos muito bem recebidos e tratados durante os 4 dias em que ficamos no hotel. Excelente café da manhã e area comum externa formidável. Madeira do quarto um pouco barulhenta. No geral muito bom, mas caro.

Bellissimo hotel in stile di boutique hotel. Tutto perfetto. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. La colazione è da fare invidia a molte 5 stelle, variata e con prodotti di ottima qualità. La zona piscina è fantastica e molto tranquilla. Ottima scelta di hotel!

Fantastic hotel in a lovely, relaxing setting
Can't recommend this relaxing, clean, spacious hotel enough. The service was top notch - even providing laundry services for a nominal fee. The rooms were very clean and spacious - with 2 levels for a family of 4. The breakfast was delicious with options for everyone - including fresh fruit, juices, yogurt, cheeses, eggs and crepes. Close by to beautiful beaches.

Freundliches, sauberes und sehr erholsames Hotel.
Das Monte do Cardal, ist ein familiengeführtes,sehr freundliches und ruhiges Hotel. Das Frühstück und andere Speisen sind frisch zubereitet und schmecken sehr gut. Die Betreiber und alle Angestellten , sind äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Lage ist zum Erholen richtig gut, man benötigt allerdings dringend einen Mietwagen.Die ganze Anlage befindet sich in einem sehr gepflegten Zustand. Einziger kleiner Nachteil sind die sehr dünnen und hellhörigen Wände. Wir würden das Monte do Cardal jederzeit wieder buchen.

Beauty and space inside and out
Warm welcome despite late arrival from airport. Spacious and tasteful apartment with all amenities. Perfect breakfasts and good dinner one evening. Much to explore in the area and fantastic walks along the coast (fisherman's trail) and in the Monchique mountains.

Soggiorno di passaggio
Per prima cosa va detto che la struttura non è ancora terminata, ci si trova nel mezzo della campagna circondati in parte da opere ancora in costruxzione, vegetazione appena piantumata che da un aspetto abbastanza desolato del posto.La camera a noi destinata molto piccola, non adatta a soggiorni lunghi per mancanza di spazio se si hanno bagagli al seguito,il bagno altrattanto piccolo,non ha porta di separazione con la camera, con i conseguenti disagi sul suo uso.Non è poi più possibile catalogare questo tipo di strutture come BB nel senso tradizionale in quanto si tratta di pensioni/alberghi a tutti gli effetti, senza però il servizio relativo. Sicuramente quando i lavori saranno terminati e la vegetazione cresciuta l'aspetto cambierà in meglio ma i disagi delle camere piccole resteranno tali. Sarebbe stato più corretto dichiarare le condizioni del posto e fare una tariffa di soft opening, fino al termine dei lavori
