The best hotel in the other side of the river.
This is a wonderful and very relaxing hotel to stay. Everything its outstanding.It is better to have a car as you dont find nearby shops or transports. Its a hotel that you can easily visit Almada velha, as it has a panoramic lift and surly not far from lisbon.

Lisbon hotel review
The service, food and rooms were excellent. The staff went beyond their duties to keep us informed and comfortable. Gave us extra information about the areas to visit and even packed our breakfast as we were leaving early to get to the airport.

Awesome experience!
This hotel offered us everything we needed, and then some. My wife and I stayed 3 nights at the Quinta do Tagus Village and loved our time there. The views from the property were extraordinary. The staff was incredibly helpful and spoke multiple languages to accommodate every traveler. The food was delicious. The rooms were clean and well kept. I couldn't believe we were able to get a hotel of this quality at the price point we received. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an exceptional experience in the Lisbon area.

Lisbon Oasis
A great spot in Lisbon for our first visit. The last road into the 'village' made us wonder if we were in the correct spot it was so rundown, however once you get there the views of Lisbon are magnificent and the room we had was well appointed and very comfortable. Catching the ferry to Belem was a great way to get there and look around the area.

A really nice hotel , clean and beautiful positioned for views, the staff are outstanding with their customer service. Just a few niggles such as no hooks in the bathroom or in the room to hang outdoor clothing and very very little space for toiletries in the bathroom needs shelves. Would have also liked a fridge in the room to keep drinks in as there isn’t an actual bar you need to buy them locally and keep them in the warm wardrobe.

Lieu très reposant mais pratiquement impossible à trouver sans GPS et encore il faut que ce soit Google sinon ça ne fonctionne pas! Mais une fois arrivé, c'est le bonheur et la belle expérience qui peut commencer. Nous recommandons l'endroit.

Beau séjour
Chambre confortable et spacieuse avec très grande terrasse et belle vue. Le personnel très agréable et à l’écoute. Excellent petit déjeuner. Important : Louer absolument un véhicule si vous souhaitez vous déplacer Mon fils de 8 ans ne s’est pas fait de copains car y séjournent surtout des couples sans enfants. Je recommande toutefois cet hôtel Bravo au personnel Bravo aux portugais pour leur accueil

Improvements needed
Lack of organization At our request, hotel organised airport transfer on our arrival which we would pay hotel on checkout. However on our arrival the driver informed us that we were to pay him directly, receptionist at hotel did not seem to know anything about this but did settle the bill with the taxi driver. On our last night we informed the reception staff that we would be eating in the hotel’s restaurant, only to be told that the restaurant had been booked for a private function. They had omitted to inform us that hotel guests were not able to eat in the hotel that evening. They admitted that they should have informed us days beforehand. Hotel did arrange for pizza to be delivered. Location Remote definitely need a car cannot rely on taxis even after being told taxi would arrive within 5 mins, we had to wait for over 40 minutes before taxi arrived and same on the return journey. There is a water treatment plant near the hotel, if the wind is blowing in the wrong direction you get a strong sewage smell. Across the water there was a music event taking place and the music was loud enough to cause disturbed sleep until 2am. Facilities Pool area had lots of broken tiles and sharp metal lamps which were dangerous No hotel information in rooms No information about what to do in case of fire or other emergency Reception not always manned Lighting in room not good lots of missing lights / flickering bulbs In our room there was NEVER any hot water while other parts oh hotel did.

Excellent hotel with stunning views
We booked this hotel short notice after our previous travel plans fell through. We found the staff very welcoming, friendly and attentive. The room was basic but did have coffee making facilities and a free bottle of water, the staff offered us a drink on arrival and then proceed to show us around so we knew where everything was. We ate in their restaurant and enjoyed the meal and the service was excellent. When we told them we needed to leave early before breakfast they arranged for a packed lunch for us to take with us for later which was greatly appreciated. I don't think however, we would have found the hotel without our sat nav.

Ett riktigt mysig litet hotell med fantastisk utsikt, utsökt kök för alla måltider och fint poolområde för bad och relax. Det ligger avsides men det kan ju vara del av poängen. Det är ändå inte mer än 20-25 minuter till Lissabons centrum med bil/taxi.

Fantastiskt ställe väl värt ett besök. En underbar frukost serverades varje dag. På restaurangen prövade vi bl.a. den japanska menyn och den var sagolik. Dock var priserna på restaurangen lite väl höga. Personalen var oerhört vänlig och hjälpte gärna till med råd inför våra utflykter. Ett fantastiskt vackert ställe som varmt rekommenderas.

Die Besitzerfamilie ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Leider ist das Hoteleigene Restaurant ein wenig überteuert. Restaurants sind leider in Gehnähe nicht vorhanden. Zum nächsten Strand sind es cirka 10 Minuten mit dem Auto. Super Laufstrecke vom Hotel weg. Der Besitzer hält Pferde und Hunde, für Kinder ideal. Schöner Pool mit Liegen. Super Frühstück, allerdings erst ab 08:30.

Bed and Breakfast with a lovely view experience
Quito do Tagus Village is like a bed and breakfast. They give good concierge service, the breakfast that comes with is lovely, and their dinners/wine selection are affordable and delicious. They give very good service. The view of Lisbon is beautiful in day and nighttime. Though some have said they did without a car, I'm not sure how one would manage without one. Make sure you have a GPS to get around. It doesn't take much time to get into Lisbon's lovely downtown from the hotel.

Wonderful in every sense!
Wonderful in every sense....clean, comfortable, classy. The owners make you feel like family. They are always available to assist and make sue that you are comfortable. The staff is equally kind and courteous. The food is great and we cannot say enough about how much we loved our stay. If you want a relaxing getaway with great hosts, you cannot ask for more.

A favourite in Lisbon
Spent two nights at this beautiful villa. The host is a really nice family who used to live in the house before they turned it into a hotel. The rooms are luxurious with a really cosy feeling to it. I have traveled all over the world and stayed in many 5 star resorts, but this place is one of the few I would go back to and by far one of my favourite. It suits romantic couples the best, but I would not mind staying there by myself either. Absolutely recommended! Another great plus is that they got a helicopter which makes the experience a lot cooler :)

very nice group, not just only about staying but also give very personal and good advise on things to do etc in Lisbon. almost like a personal concierge. The views are amazing, good outstanding, rooms clean and perfect......nothing more one can ask for!.....Staff is very warm and nice! it's a Jewel Stay + Peaceful & Comfortable!......their Sushi is to die for !!!!

Et sjeldent hyggelig hotell!
Hotellet ligger nydelig til på Almadasiden med flott utsikt over elva Tajo og Lisboa. Hotellet er meget elegant og med et hyggelig interiør. Service og vennlighet hos de ansatte var imponerende. Lett adgang med offentlig transport (trikk, båt) til bla Lisboa og Cascais og Estoril (tog). Dog anbefales også å ha bil.

Une petite escapade en dehors du temps !
Accueil chaleureux. La chambre est telle que ce que l'on voit sur le site. La vue y est aussi extraordinaire que ce qui est dit sur le site. Nous vous recommandons le restaurant de sushis qui est fabuleux. Nous ne pourrons jamais manger des sushis ordinaires ! Le petit-déjeuner est aussi un moment délicieux. Service personnalisé et à table ce qui est devenu très rare : (orange pressée, crêpes chaudes, salade de fruits frais...) . Le personnel est chaleureux et accueillant tout en étant très respectueux de notre intimité. Seule la pluie nous a dérangé et nuit un peu à la qualité de notre séjour mais pour cette raison nous y retournerons volontiers lors d'un prochain séjour à Lisbonne.

Osannolikt fint ställe med fantastisk vy över Lissabon. Ostört läge men nära till staden. Passar för familj, romantik eller för sällskap vid firande av födelsedag etc. Maten (sushi) var galet bra och frukosten bättre än bäst.

Un hotel con unas vistas espectaculares de lisboa,muy agradable y perfecto para el relax despues de una jornada de turismo.Al estar al margen sur para acceder a lisboa necesitas de vehiculo o de los servicios publicos que funcionan bien, para nosotros que conociamos la zona ha sido perfecto. la hab perfecta aunque justa para 4,para 2 hubiera sido ideal.El propietario y el personal perfectos, desayuno muy bueno, sin ninguna duda sera la primera opcion para volver en primavera

Great gem near Lisbon ... can't wait to return!
We luckily found Quinta do Tagus Village by chance. Breathtaking views, amazing hosts, great staff, beautiful rooms, superb restaurant and a perfect location. We definitely recommend this place, even for a family because it is often difficult to find comfortable places for four.

It felt like staying at a friend´s home
If you want to keep away from the traffic and crowds and stay in a wonderful property with an amazing view, a top notch Japanese Restaurant and the friendliest staff, this is definitely the place to stay. This is a family owned and operated hotel located on the top of a hill in front of Belem across the Tagus River. The property itself has breathtaking views of the river and pretty much everything across it. Ideally you would want to bring a car, but we managed without one. Thyago the owner, greeted us at our arrival and showed us around. He and his staff made us felt like staying at some friend´s house at all times. He even arranged a boat trip for us and drove us to the port and back to the hotel. The restaurant served great breakfasts with fruit, bread, yoghurt, eggs, etc. For lunch and dinner they serve delicious Japanese food (sushi mainly) with some very good options for vegetarians as well. Our room was VERY spacious and well equipped and also had a great view.

Fantastisk hus/hotell, men man bor egentlig litt hjemme hos noen. Rolig og vakkert, luksusfølelse. Må ha bil. Passer kanskje best for par selv om våre gutter koste seg de altså! Nydelig frokost og utsikt. Helikopter flyr jevnlig inn lunsjgjester til sushi-restauranten.

Ich kann das nur empfehlen, der Inhaber führt das Haus sehr persönlich, kümmert sich auch darum wenn man mal einen Ausflug macht mit Leib und Seele, organisiert andere Hotels, toll. Das Essen ist grandios (RESERVIEREN), der Blick sensationell und deswegen volle Punktzahl. Wir kommen wieder.

Auf dem Weg in die Quinta do Tagus Village fragt man sich ob man sich nicht verfahren hat. Bis man vor einem Tor steht und sich ein verstecktes Juwel schön gelegen mit einem fantastischen Blick von Lissabon über Sintra bis hin zum Atlantischen Ozean öffnet. Man wird sehr freundlich und persönlich vom Besitzer begrüßt und es wird einen alles gezeigt und erklärt. Auch zwischendurch wird man über seinen Tagesablauf gefragt und man fühlt sich einfach wie zu Hause. Der Hubschrauber der hier abgebildet ist, ist keine Fotomontage oder wurde extra dafür eingeflogen. Nein man kann direkt von seiner Unterkunft aus zu einem Hubschrauberrundflug über Lissabon starten. Am Abend sollte man im Hauseigenem Lokal unbedingt essen. Die Küche ist ausgezeichnet und das Sushi erfüllt die höchsten Standards. Wer Ausflüge plant kann mit der nahegelegenen Strassenbahn bis zum Hafen fahren und dann direkt nach Lissabon übersetzen. Ein schöner Strand ist auch ganz in der Nähe, den man aber vielleicht besser mit Auto erreicht ansonsten hat die Anlage ja noch einen Pool.
