Seul bémol, l'accès à l'appartement. Il faut prendre deux ascenseurs et cheminer dans des couloir en changeant de bâtiments. Cela devient compliqué quand il y a du monde qui utilise les ascenseurs car on perd pas mal de temps.

Upon arrival the staff were friendly and helpful. The private underground parking was great for ease of unloading and accessing the apartment. Whilst the apartment was tidy, we found chewing gum on one of the chairs and the furniture was far from comfortable to sit on - although fine if you are just using it for short periods eating. All the basics were there but we would not recommend the kitchen for any serious cooking (Microwave/Combination oven and a small hob). The Wifi was absolutely awful. It constantly asked for a login and when you did connect the signal didn't even allow emails to be sent unless you walked closer to reception. My wife and I resorted to paying for 4G via Vodafone to access the internet, really disappointing. The pool is ok but given the number of apartments, far from relaxing due to how busy it gets. Overall a good location, with basic amenities and would recommend if you just want somewhere as a base to go and explore from.

AIME : SERVICES PROPOSES dans l'offre initiale (wifi, piscine, équipement cuisine, ...) PAS AIME : pas de wifi ni 4G dans appartement alors que vendu dans la prestation (reponse acceuil "oui, on le sait" > pas digne de 4*) + accès espace détente (salon, coin lecture / repos, billard...) fermé à 20h, vu du balcon sur immeuble alors qu'achat prestation Gold, surcout des services supplémentaires (9€ lessive !!)

Une très belle résidence à proximité des pistes, des commerces. Alors oui les quelques ascenseurs peuvent faire peur mais une fois le système compris (et notamment le jeu des passerelles) tout est à proximité et sans être mouillés ! Le personnel est d'une extrême gentillesse, réactif et disponible. Le Spa "o des cimes" est juste superbe Bref un super séjour !!

Nice, clean and well equipped apartment, especially kitchen (everything you may need even salad spinner and lemon juicer), but no windows in the bedroom It is not really a 4 star hotel, it is more like a self-catering apartment with a concierge and spa. Overpriced. We didn't notice any signs of 4* apart from swimming pool.There was no room service,no cleaning,no breakfast,no safety locker,poor WiFi. You even have to clean the kitchen and strip the beds down before checkout! We arrived late and there was nobody at the reception, the hotel was closed! We didn't get any welcome email and nobody told us that reception closes at about 9p.m. Hopefully, I called a day before to ask about taxi and they told me how to open the locker and get the key if we come late, I got this information only by accident! otherwise we could have spent the night outside! In the locker we have found an instruction how to find the room and it was in French only! It was a real adventure game, there are 5 or 6 lifts, we spent about 30 minutes and used knowledge of all 5 foreign languages we speak. Someone wrote in comments about this problem earlier and they still have not translated even basic instructions and guidance. No towels in spa and they asked us not to wear our flip-flops in spa. It is not hygienic. Location is good for skiing.Good slopes, good restaurants, lots of ski rental shops, friendly people. Not sure if it is easy to store ski in the hotel, we rented lockers down in the village

Top appartement, we waren blij met de upgrade
Het was een heerlijk appartement dichtbij de piste. We hadden een 4 persoonshuisje geboekt en kregen een 6 persoonshuisje. Dat was heerlijk, want anders was het heel krap geweest (we waren met 2 volwassenen en een baby). Het appartement had een zeer complete uitrusting, ook in de keuken. Dus ben je met 4 personen: boek minimaal een 6 persoonshuisje gold. Bij silver is de tweede slaapkamer erg krap (1 nachtkastje en geen kastruimte).

Good location close to slopes.
Be prepared for a lengthy check in at busy periods.Each individual can takes 10 to 15 minutes and if several people in line and only two staff-get the idea ,extremely frustrating and unnecessary. Else,helpful staff and pool and spa. Other issue to be aware of is the complicated lift system that takes time to get used to.

Lovely stay even with little snow!
what a lovely aparthotel - staff were smiling and welcoming from check in to check out . Reception area is lovely and welcoming with log fire and and lots of seating. The apartment was a gold standard and had gorgeous views of the slopes. Exceptionally well appointed with 3 bedrooms with comfy beds. As a family of 5 we had lots of space even when we all got the winter vomiting bug!! The spa area is great. My only comment which is not a complaint but more a suggestion would be to have some free weights in the gym. Sauna were great and never crowded when we went at 5 ish each day so I cannot comment about later then that. It's a little bit of a trek to the village but with the lifts no trouble at all. As we usually stay on the slopes this is not ski in ski out. However for the last 3 years at New Years we didn't have enough snow to ski down from the "ski in ski out" apartments, so again no real issues as lifts to ski area are just across the road . Overall a fantastic apartment complex really well run and with delightful reception staff.

Perfect resort to get your mind on track again!
I had no idea this resort was so far up in the mountains- believe it or not it was darn near the very top! With that said- if seclusion is what you are after- especially from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.....THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! I loved every moment of being in Le Grand Bornand. The people were pleasant- the food was great- the air is crisp- it is TRULY a getaway!

Dernière semaine de vacances scolaire nous n'avons cependant pas "souffert" d'une foule oppressante. La station est petite et familiale mais adaptée egalement aux gens sans enfants. La résidence est absolument magnifique et était à la hauteur de nos espérances (à part peut-être la vue qui ne peut être à couper le souffle dans tous les apparements. Nous avons pu néanmoins apprécier le balcon et le soleil). Nous avons eu la chance d'être sur-classés (passant d'un apt pour 4 a un apt pour 6). Nous avons grandement apprecié la proximité des commerces, le spa, la salle de sport dans la résidence. La gentillesse de l'équipe du spa notamment. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir si une autre promotion correspond à nos dates de vacances :)

Résidence luxueuse proche des pistes de ski
Tres bonne semaine passée dans cet établissement. Le système des ascenseurs parfois critiqué n'est pas un problème. On comprend rapidement le principe. Les services pour les soins corporels sont également de grandes qualités. L établissement est proche des pistes de ski. On peut s y rendre à pieds sans problème. 3 reproches cependant : - la mauvaise organisation à l'arrivée. On pourrait très bien nous donner accés aux appartements qu'à partir de 17h et réaliser les démarches administratives dès l arrivée le matin par exemple. Alors que vers 11h, il n y avait personne qui attendait, nous avons dû patienter environ 45 minutes l'après midi pour obtenir l accès à notre location. - le fait de passer par expédia ou par un site partenaire de CGH, ne permet pas de bénéficer d un parking couvert gratuit. Il faut payer un supplément alors que les appartements sont aux mêmes prix sur les différents sites. - il faut savoir qu un appartement de type "Gold" ne donne pas acces obligatoirement à une jolie vue sur le massif (notre terrasse donnait sur la falaise par exemple). Ces appartements sont ils réservés aux Clients apportés par les "partenaires" ?

Nous avons été bien accueillis à notre arrivée et l'appartement était spacieux et avec une belle vue. Cependant, dès minuit le premier soir, les voisins de l'appartement du dessous ont chanté extrêmement fort, puis hurlé et se sont battus jusqu'à 4 heures du matin. Nous avons tapé sur le plancher puis appelé la réception et sommes tombés sur un répondeur. Nous avons eu peur car nous entendions qu'ils se battaient. Le lendemain, nous sommes allés à la réception qui nous a confirmé que c'était un groupe qui avait loué trois appartements mitoyens et un membre du personnel qui habite à deux rangées de là nous a confirmé avoir été réveillé par le bruit. La réceptionniste nous a dit que nous aurions dû appeler la gendarmerie... aucun mot ni geste de la Direction jusqu'à la veille de notre départ, et qui nous a dit qu'ils n'étaient pas obligés d'avoir un veilleur de nuit. Par ailleurs, le chauffage de l'appartement était très bas et nous chauffions par les convecteurs des salles de bains. Enfin, le réceptionniste qui a fait l'inventaire au départ ne nous a pas dit bonjour ni demandé comment s'était passé le séjour, juste "c'est bon pour moi". Tout ceci est inacceptable pour un 4 étoiles.

Magnifique complexe hôtelier parfaitement intégré à la montagne. Appartements spacieux et très bien agencés. De nombreux services proposés. Par contre le wifi est inutilisable car le signal étant dans les couloirs, il est trop faible ou inexistant dans l'appartement. Je n'ai obtenu aucune compensation alors que la disponibilité du wifi est un critère qui a guidé mon choix. Au niveau de la piscine, la propreté du sol pourrait-être améliorée. La situation et le cadre me feraient revenir mais la gestion du site me ferait hésiter.

Bon accueil, mais petit hic arrivés à la chambre, on était à 5 et pas de lit fait pour la 5ème personne (ceci aurait pu être mentionné à l'arrivée, car apparemment c'est normal) et pas de serviette pour cette 5ème personne (donnée le lendemain). Grand appartement, deux salles de bain, très bien. Manque d'insolation intérieure. Très bons services au Spa.

Vi var på Village de Lessy i uge 30 2014. Vi havde et super ophold. Hotellet er meget lækkert og gennemført og lejlighederne er rigtig godt indrettet. Alt er rent og pænt og velholdt. Hotellet ligger på en klippeside og består af flere bygninger der er bygget sammen, så man kan komme fra top til bund via flere forskellige elevatorer. Vi valgte en 'guld' lejlighed til 4/6 personer, som har 2 soveværelser, 2 badeværelser, 1 toilet, 1 køkken/spisestue/stue, 1 altan med fin udsigt. Hotellet har indendørs pool, fitnessrum, saunaer og steamrooms til fri afbenyttelse. Der ligger en Spar købmand i byen og flere spisesteder og bagere. Vi havde en fantastisk uge og vil med garanti komme tilbage. Kan varmt anbefales.

We stayed one week at CGH in Le Grand Bornand and had an excellent time. The view from the apartment was spectacular could not ask for anything better. The hotel is huge situated on a hill, but the apartments feel like small individual chalets. As the hotel was big it was quite a distance from reception to the apartment meaning several elevators to get there. I know some reviews have given a bad grade due to this which I think is unfair , you quite quickly get used to it and learn the route. The kids thought it was fun too. The amenities were great, pool, sauna, steam room. Ease of access to the slopes just a walk across the road. Ski lockers located close which helped a lot, i.e no need to use the car for a week. There is a well stocked supermarket just below the hotel where you can find all you need.

Village de Lessy, fijne combi van zwemmen en skiën
Alles in het hotel was prima, goed geregeld, relatief luxe. Wij zaten er in de krokusvakantie, dus DE topweek van het skiseizoen. Ik heb daarom de hoofdprijs betaald, maar dat weet je van tevoren. Wat ik niet kon weten is dat ons appartement uitkeek op een blinde muur, de rots waartegen ons gebouw is aangebouwd: de hele week uitkijken op een grote grijze massa ongeveer 3 meter van je balkon vandaan. Dus boek hier niet zomaar, je MOET zeker stellen dat je niet letterlijk in het verdomhoekje wordt geplaatst. Het grote verschil tussen een perfecte vakantie en een prima vakantie. Ik vind het verschil tussen weids uitzicht en tegen een rots aankijken wel een hoop geld waard.
