“I enjoyed my stay at this hotel Alvor. The rooms were decent and a fair size. The hotel staff were accommodating and the spa was very relaxing.
The restaurant on the property but I only ate breakfast there because it was included with my stay. The breakfast buffet was decent and the concentrated on healthier options. Only thing is you have to ask for more food where getting the food options from the kitchen.
If you choose to stay here, it is a good idea to have a car. It is a bit of a walk...

“Unique! The hotel building is a one-of-a-kind architectural masterpiece located on top of a cliff. It has a small very private beach surrounded by cliffs. The owner collects antique museum-quality furniture, which is displayed in all public areas, so it feels like staying at a museum. Beautiful views.

Beds comfortable. A minor point, shower doors need attention but shower good, great to have 2 bathrooms/ bedrooms.
Check in is 4pm, on arrival at 3.15 we called the office, to be told it still needed cleaning. We returned at 4pm, cleaner turned up at 4.15pm. We dropped off our bags and were given a key. We returned later to a clean apartment. Better if check in process/time was easier. ”
