"Our stay was extremely disappointing due to serious hygiene, food safety & service issues. We felt completely at the mercy of the staff rather than cared for as guests. We repeatedly found insects in our food—ants, gnats, mosquitoes & beetle like bugs across multiple meals. I have a plethora of photo/video evidence. And there are no words for how wonderful the staff are. There English is amazing! The classes are definitely working and they went out of their way to ensure you had an amazing time and had everything you needed. "My stay at the resort was decent. The staff was nice for the must part, language barrier at times was an issue but nothing that would ruin the stay. The resort is nice, far from the city but good if you prefer quiet mornings and nights. The amenities on the resort i.e gym are not usable in my opinion, very dated and unclean space. The room are clean but dated hwever I did not mind the rustic like flare. If you are looking for over the top luxury this is not the resort for you. This is budget...

Was surprised to learn that A/C was only available at an additional cost of 25000 Ariary (about $5 USD), and there was no fan in the room to make the heat bearable without A/C. The room had two beds in separate sleeping spaces, but the A/C was not powerful enough to cool anything other than the bed next to it.
