I am obsessed with trains. I didn't pick a train side room because I knew the river was what I wanted more on this trip. but I wish I could've done both at the same time! The staff was courteous and knowledgable. I had to leave too early for breakfast and they offered and it was packed it for me. there is a kettle in the room! this is gold! and they were so good with when I really should leave for the airport and getting the taxi.

Hotel is beautiful and in a perfect location! I believe it is fairly new or recently renovated. So many restaurants and shops right outside the front door. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room is well appointed. Plenty of electrical outlets. Great lighting. Has espresso machine, hot water kettle, coffee and tea. Refrigerator with some stocked drinks and snacks. We were at the end of a 5 week trip so we were happy the room had enough space for our luggage. A decent sized closet. Beautiful bathroom with full door on shower. Heated towel rack so towels dried. Daily maid service. We would definitely stay there again if we return to Lisbon.

Lovely hotel in a great position in Alfama, can get to most places on foot if you can handle the hills/steps. Staff were really friendly and helpful particularly Carol on breakfast duty and Cape and Sara on front desk. Gym and spa area are a bit limited but with all of the walking the gym wasn’t really necessary. Breakfast was really good with a range of options and choice of a variety of egg-based dishes also available. A revelation for me was the availability of chilled port! I’ve only ever drank port at room temperature. Finally a tour of the museum is a must, absolutely fascinating.

This was a wonderful hotel. Staff was excellent and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend this hotel. Staff attentive. Room was extremely clean. If we needed additional items, staff immediately took care of it.

"I sent 4 messages, weeks apart before my trip and no one bothered to reply Friendly staff. Very clean hotel. However, something should be done about noise after 11pm and before 6am!! We stayed on 3rd floor and had very noisy guests beside us."
