The Grand Central Hotel is not open for business but they do take your money (Non-refundable) and Expedia still offers their services but cannot get you a refund. Not kidding. Do not book a room. The doors are literally chained shut. They have been cloed since March 2020. Also I didn't realize when booking for myself and my family that it is right in the middle of the redlight district...oops.

The location is good if you are into nightlife, pubs, clubs and girlie bars, but the hotel itself is in very poor condition. The lift is so slow you could walk up and down the stairs quicker. My room was on the top floor and did have access to the roof pool which would have been a lot better if the spa had water in it! The shower in the room was terrible and when turned on would immediately point to ceiling. When I asked to have it fixed they said its a new shower and didn't need fixing! Trust me it needed fixing and they didn't fix it. Apart from that I thought it was way overpriced considering the overall condition of the property which was very poor. The staff were mostly helpful apart from the shower problem, but don't expect much if you go there as you will be sorely disappointed.

Room was a little dirty and not wiped down when i first got there, but the staff is great and will clean if asked. The front desk and ladies downstairs were really funny, and made it a very enjoyable stay. - Ex Husband

Rooms towards back away from walking street are quiet. Rooms are modern and more upscale than the other hotels nearby. The suites has better linen and a living room. The location is dead center of walking street. Easy to meet people and just a few steps from dozens of bars and restaurants.

Für euch Jungs empfehlenswert
Das Hotel scheint neu renoviert zu sein zumindest die Zimmer, man versucht mit der grossen Kelle anzurühren und vergisst dabei die Details! zB Stange für Kleiderbügel fehlt, Badetücher eher Sparsam, der etwas gar kleingeratene Kühlschrank ist leer. Notbeleuchtung im Gang fehlanzeige da muss das Handy ran beim fast täglichem Strohmausfall. ABER: Ansonsten ist das Zimmer ein Wow Effekt! spezialbeleuchtung im Schlafzimmer.... 2x Flatscrens, kleine Küche, Bar, Sofaliege plus Sofa, geräumige Dusche, das alles ist Top und die Preisleistung sowieso. (Kleine Suite upgegradet, mann gönnt sich ja sonst nix)

Girls in housekeeping were great. Front porters were top notch. Girls in restaurant were on point. The elevator was a little scary. I was always afraid it would get stuck. The young girl in the daytime shift is less than helpful. And her attitude definitely needs some improvement. I had to come back 3 times to receive my receipt. And each time she had not written it out yet. Finally the other lady on daytime shift filled it out with the wrong info. It wasn’t worth waiting around for the correction in the hot lobby.

A confortable place in the walking street.
A nice roomy hotel. The cafe out front is a relaxing locations for a latte and the food and barista are first rate. There is plenty of security in the street making this a foreigner friendly area.

Location is the best feature of this hotel. It sits in the area I was looking to be in for my week stay. The lobby coffee shop and food service were very good. It quickly became a regular stop for drinks and food. Hope to revisit some day soon.

The rooms are terrible!!
I booked a room using your service for an 8 night stay. Upon arrival and checking into my room I noticed the condition of the room was less than adequate the paint peeling from the walls and the possible growth of mold behind the mattress was unacceptable, so I spoke with the hotel staff and they informed me that they would move my room but were unable too due to occupancy and it would be 1 day before they could do so. As promised they moved my room and for about 2 days I didn't have any issues until I noticed a roach in the bathroom on the sink. Then 2 more in the bathroom the following day, as well as a roach in the living area of the room. I notified hotel staff and they sprayed with the bug killing product called "Raid". This product only kills roaches if they're sprayed directly so it was pretty much useless. At this point I was ready to leave and Hotels.com and the Manager on duty spoke with and came up with a solution to give me a $100 credit as well as refund 1 night of my stay and move my room for the 3rd time. The 3rd room was supposed to be a remodeled suit. Once again a roach and the cleanliness of the room was terrible. See pics. See pics below of each room. I didn't take pictures of the roaches in the second room, I had already flushed them down the toilet, not thinking. But the 3rd room I did. I'm in no way pleased with the conditions of the rooms that I have stayed in.

Too disappointing ... Choose a different hotel
We were so disappointed with the lack of quality that we refused to stay there. The room furnishings looked old and outdated. The room pictured in the photo looked nice, the room they offered looked hideous. Then they told us that construction would be going on within the hotel so the noise will probably be a distraction. No. Unacceptable. We decided to stay elsewhere.

My friends and I decide to stay here a a little stop over for relaxation. Not a bad stay for the price. Lots of complaints about the elevator situation. Only 4 elevators for 3 different hotel/condos very busy all the time. Wait time could exceed 20mins with staff and guests using the same elevators. Otherwise not a bad stay for the price.

Cleanliness issues and construction noise
Construction works just beside the rooms are extremely loud and are carried out from 7am to 4pm. Was unable to get much sleep becaise of this horrible noise and it affects quite a free rooms. Bathroom did not seem clean and water had discoiouration and strange smell. Will never stay here again.

Pleasant stay
Relatively well appointed room for the price. Located on 'Walking Street' right in the middle of all the actions. Could get noisy sometimes but it never bothered me. Overall good value for money.

良いロケーションの割りに、安価。
バーホッピングを朝方まで行う人には最高のロケーションです。　 エレベーターは小さいのが一つのみ。古くて動きも遅いし、使用中に故障すると困るので、部屋までは極力階段を使いました。 設備は全体的に古さを感じますが、きれいに清掃されていて、好感は持てました。　部屋のコンセントはたくさんありましたが、半分近くが使えず、、、 他の部屋は半分以上空いているのかなという印象で、他の宿泊者とすれ違うことはほとんどありませんでした。 また次回泊まってもいいかな！？という感想です。

My favorite hotel in Angeles. Only bad thing was that management wanted to charge me 200php per hour as I waited in the room for their car to transport me back to Manila for my flight.

Hotel location great near the nightlife.
Wifi was spotty, no wash cloth and bath towels dingy. Hotel cafe is nice place to chill and watch happenings on Walking Street.

Perfect Location
I was a little nervous to visit Angeles city as a westerner on my own for the 1st time. I am so happy that I chose this hotel. From the moment I 1st walked in this hotel I was treated as part of the owner's family. Dan the owner gave me a room right next to his and had the manager Mark personally show me around the strip to meet the local bar owners, and I felt the safest I have ever felt since stepping into the Philippines. The hotel itself is beautiful and spacious. Comes complete with a restaurant and bar on the 1st floor. You can sit at one of the tables on the porch and people watch. It is directly across the street from Viking and is in the center of all the action. The female staff are beautiful and will treat you like a king without ever trying to upsell you on anything. I mistakenly left my watch on the table and the male staff tracked me down immediately and returned it before I even realized it was missing. Central Hote is the best spot for foreignors on the strip!

Cleanliness was great
The room was great .In term of safety features .i.e the door nob need to be replace with the latest technology which is more safer.I had stayed in such price hotel with a latest door nob handle technology.The bath room lamp was not replace during my stayed.I can see burning mark due to blown up.

great hotel for money
great hotel in great location on walking st. The outside seating area for a drink or food was great.We really didnt go anywhere except on walking street because we were there only one night. Only one thing wrong with hotel was that balcony only overlooked small house tops.We would definitely come back.They even had a car take us to manila for 3,000p (3 of us instead of bus and trikes.

great staff. however the room was old, not in good repair and in need of a good deep cleaning. Good for what it was but not someplace I would stay again. unfortunately lost in this was an exceptional staff
