"We had a nice stay at Lagonita Lodge for one night. The property is a little older, but it’s well maintained and has a cozy mountain charm with rustic furnishings that fit the Big Bear setting perfectly. The lakefront location is beautiful, with gorgeous views of the lake. The sleeper sofas could use new mattresses, and the bathrooms could benefit from some updating, but overall, we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay and would stay here again."

"The room (two queen beds) was quite spacious, as was the bathroom. Everything was super clean. There was a fridge, but no microwave. However, there was a microwave in the lobby/market area. Coffee and tea were available 24/7 in the kitchen area where breakfast was offered. Friendly and helpful staff at the front desk for check-in and check out. Very small swimming pool in a shaded area, which probably is good for a dip in extremely hot temperatures."
