We had a great stay at Quinta do Espirito Santo. We hosts are fantastique and full of insight. This is not a traditional hotel, but you get to stay at a fantastique old house with great history and athmosphere. The premises have cats, chickens, ducks and dogs. Would recommend a stay here if you want something out of the ordinary.

This Quinta is set on ca. 3 ha of land, more/less in the country side yet < 10 min away from some great seafood restaurants and 15 min away from Angra do Heroismo. The host and hostess are very friendly, helpful, and interesting. The breakfasts were nice, featuring different cheeses from different Azores islands and home made jams and preserves. The Quinta is well located with easy access to several sightseeing destinations. We had a wonderful stay and heartily recommend it.
