"Property was located at a central location in Angra next to the garden (which provides the best city views if you walk to the top). Exterior and lobby look very nice but the rooms and hallways were a bit outdated. I had a single room on the second floor facing the street. It was surprisingly quiet. ..."

We spent five nights on Terceira Island and didn't get to do all we wanted to. The weather was unpredictable -- cloudy, sunny, some rain, etc. So you need some time. The town is a gem.

We love Angra do Heroismo. It is a very walkable city with lots of cafes, bakeries, culture, and beautiful scenery to appreciate. We will definitely return to Angra do Heroismo.

Make sure to go to the museum and garden up from the main square. At the top of the hill there's a monument with a wonderful view. The museum is in an old convent. A must see.
