“My room was great but my experience in the restaurant was not. The servers appeared to be stressed and it wasn’t that busy. Took awhile to get seated and to actually get served. The restaurant was a beautiful atmosphere, thought the service would match the setting. Food was mediocre for the price. The coffee was terrible and not sure why we had to pay for it when it was free at the front. It was an interesting visit. I would stay again but would eat elsewhere. ”

“The room was spacious and modern but with the original feel of the 1828 property. The continental breakfast was delicious and having it diverted tot the room was a bonus. Wine tasting included was also a nice touch Would highly recommend to others staying in the area. ”

“Every thing was clean, tidy and organized, there’s heat pumps in the rooms with easily accessible controls. They left a sweet note on check in and check in and check out was a breeze! We missed breakfast due to a tight schedule and the hosts offered breakfast parfait’s to go. I’m extremely happy with my stay and will stay again ”

We went in winter time but the property would be lovely to see in summer.”

Seperate temperature controls for upstairs vs downstairs was nice but a little noisy. Breakfast in the main inn was very tasty and the staff were all great, especially Malachai who gave us more information about the University.”

“Room was ok but I booked through Expedia and I was supposed to get a room with a full kitchen and living room. That was not the kind of room I received. The office closed soon after we checked in and there wasn't an opportunity to discuss. We left the next morning before the office opened. ”

“The bed and breakfast was nice and quiet and warm....was a pleasant little vacation stay. Darrell was very welcoming and kind and even called earlier in the day to let me know his wife was sick and wouldn't be able to cook breakfast (as she would need to stay away from spreading germs while she healed) and asked if I wanted to cancel. I thought that was very thoughtful to give me the option to cancel and provided a breakfast gift card, but I felt safe to still stay. I didn't meet lovely Marla...
