"We really enjoyed our stay at the Merchantile. It's a stunningly beautiful hotel with lovely, creative decor. The breakfast was fantastic, one of the best that we've experienced in our travels. There is a buffet section and then made to order, delicious options such as Eggs Royale. The staff was friendly and helpful. The facade of the building is also gorgeous. The location is perfect, close to many pubs including the Temple Bar. The room was very quiet also. We recommend the Stag's Head Pub for lunch and some pints. Our rating is 4.75 because of the hard pillows and some dusty areas in the room."

"We had a great stay! The room was spacious and clean - our family of 4 was very comfortable. The location is fantastic! Everything you want to see is just outside the front door. The breakfast was yummy and the staff was helpful. Definitely recommend!"

"This is a fun hotel. It has a lot of interesting art and history on the walls and a giant wood hog in the lobby. The layout is wild. It’s only 2 floors. What it lacks in height it makes up for in width. There are 2 entrances, the pub and reception. To get from one to the other, you walk through multiple dining rooms. It’s all dark wood and moody. If you like a unique design and quirky place to stay, you will like this hotel. The rooms are ok, they could use some updates. There’s children’s are in the halls. There’s a bizarre terrarium that’s super hot. Unsure what it’s for. The pub is great, cheap brews and food. Nice open and airy. Lots of locals drinking there. Very friendly people."
