"The 1st room offered smelled.horrible of tobacco, the carpet was badly stained and damaged, the couch was garbage. I returned and given the 2nd to look at. It also smelled the same, carpet and couch a little better but not much. Went to front desk and they said they couldn't do anything about it. All the rooms smelled the same he claimed. I tried to complain with Expedia but chat was no help. I asked to speak to an agent and.given a message saIng 15 minutes . I was tired, couldn't get help, didn't want to trAns find another hotel and stayed against my wishes. "

"This is by far the worst hotel I have ever encountered. Dirty and worn out. I did not stay, i lost the entire fare."

"My room had an intense smell of smoke from a fire that recently occurred in that room or the room below or next to it. I called the front desk to switch rooms. Unfortunately, they said they were sold out so they couldn’t move me to another room. So the front desk came up to my room and brought me a spray bottle full of cleaning disinfectant. I had the staff smell my room and they agreed how bad it smelled. Again, she couldn’t do anything to help me other than spray the disinfectant all over. I did so and it did nothing to help. My complaint is with the manager allowing that room to be rented out. That room should be off the market unit they address the issue. The hotel was nice and clean with no complaints other than the smell in my room being so overpowering I got about 2-3 hours of sleep. The manger allowing that room to stay open should be audited and demoted or at minimum held accountable for this failure to provide every guest with the best experience. "

"The entire stay was very enjoyable and we will plan to return. My only negative is that the first impression was pretty concerning when we saw the condition of the hallway carpeting. It was very, very old and worn. The rooms were fine though. The young lady serving breakfast did wonderful job!"

"The location was amazing. The stars for the staff go to two individuals alone. If not for them (hostess/waitress in restaurant and Brandon at front desk) I would have given ZERO stars for staff. Be prepared to ASK for everything including clean towels, coffee, room cleaning, real glasses, cheese on the breakfast buffet. NOT relaxing - it was a chore. "

"Very close to the train tracks trains were waking us up at 1:30 in the morning about four different trains went by honking their horns keeping us from sleeping"

"We got there & were told they had overbooked the hotel so they didn’t have a room for us. They had taken the liberty to book us into the Hampton Inn down the street. It was an embarrassing situation for us as she loudly announced in front of other people the situation. We had driven 8+ hours that day & we’re not happy to be greeted by that news. The desk clerk at the Hampton Inn indicated that this was far from the first time this has happened with them. I will not book a Hyatt Hotel again anywhere."
