The metro station is in front of the hotel. With metro 9 and 15 you arrive in 5 minutes the Groenplaats. The big market with all kind of bars and restaurants and shoppingmalls and shopping streets. The accommodation is very clean and the co workers are very kindly.

Out of city hotel hotel

Visiting Antwerp Christmas Market. Hotels I've stayed at previously unavailable but as I was travelling alone I was satisfied booking this hotel despite it being slightly off route to Antwerp City central. This hotel provides self catering rooms if this convenience suits you.

I would go back. Staff was very friendly and tried very hard to make my stay enjoyable. Minus one star because I had to go buy an electrical adapter and I got lost looking for the laundry. Also, couldn’t find the hair dryer or room safe till the last day. Breakfast was tasty and the lady in the breakfast area was super friendly and took pride in her work. Rooms were very clean and bed comfortable. Loved my balcony overlooking the city. One lovely staff member even went to the store to buy me a razor. Thank you! I appreciate you! Hope you like you’re new job there. ❤️

Stayed here for 5 nights to see the World Gymnastics. Good apartment hotel. Very clean, modern and new. Area is walkable to main central station. 15mins. Nearest Tram is 7 mins. 15min tram journey to Sports stadium. There are closer hotels to the main attractions but double the cost so this felt a good choice. There is a supermarket opposite the hotel which is handy as our room had a small kitchen and good sized fridge. Checking in with Expedia booking was complex. I think this was a technical teething problem and didn’t change our experience. Would stay here again.

This was the first time we had used an Adagio aparthotel and after this experience we'll definitely be doing so again! Such a great use of space by having fold away (which were very comfortable) beds and a small kitchenette with a fridge, hob and microwave which saved us a fortune on eating out all the time. This hotel is perfectly situated near to the Central station in Antwerp with all the amenities and sights in easy walking distance. If you want to travel further afield, there is a tram/underground station near to the hotel as well (Plantin). Also in easy walking distance is the beautiful Cogels-Osylei which is a street with some of the most amazing architecture you could wish for with a pleasant square nearby for a coffee afterwards (Draakplaats.) All in all, a fantastic stay and I wouldn't hesitate to use again. One tip if you're traveling by car, make sure that you register your vehicle on the Antwerp low emissions website. It's free to register but I'm told it can cost you a fortune if you bring your car into the city without having done so!

To be clear the standard, finish and aesthetic of this property is high. I was, however, deeply offended to discover that neither Expedia nor Accor/Adagio Hotels have in place a system to ensure fully paid for booking are relayed into the hotel's system. Further, they put disabled travellers at additional risk by failing to relay special requirements to the hotel. This is all in direct breach of Equality Act legislation here in the UK where the payment was taken and likewise in breach of Disability Tourism legislation in place in Europe where the booking took place. So I arrived to find I apparently had no booking. Horror story! Luckily, I had all relevant documents on my phone to prove I had booked - however, the main stroke of luck was the fact they had a apartment available. Another misleading omission was the fact that neither Expedia nor Accor/Adagio bother to inform you upon booking that you owe a City Charge upon arrival. This, too, is presumptuous and lacking in transparency. The hotel had good amenities and pleasant staff. However, despite being fairly new many items in the hotel apartment were broken - handle to balcony snapped off, bathroom and kitchen extractor fans not working (and still weren't by end of the week despite reporting it), kettle broken so it would not stop boiling, widescreen TV not working. Most of these things were reasonably promptly rectified by the team (except the extractor fans). I think it's not being checked thoroughly.
