"I booked a last minute one-night tent stay. Tent had a comfy bed with clean sheets. Shared bathroom was very basic but clean enough. The ladies and men running the place were so sweet and took great care of me. They customized delicious vegetarian meals. I also had a great massage. Most importantly to me, the setting was spectacular. Beautiful, quiet beach, I think the best in the island, still very swimmable at low tide: "

"I was abit skeptical after reading reviews on here and on google regarding this place and even considered booking elsewhere but it was such a lovely stay! The rooms were amazing, the staff were super helpful, it’s a perfect location on the beach. Couldn’t fault it. The food was decent too. But the downside is that it’s is away from the main area of Ao Nang, there isn’t any shops around the hotel. The taxi service outside the hotel is an absolute rip off, charging 600bhat to go to Ao Nang, better to use Grab/bolt app for about 100-300bhat. "

"I mistakenly booked the wrong dates, so when I arrived at the hotel to check in, it was actually the day we were schedules to check out, so the hotel didn't have a room for us. (This of course was my mistake). The hotel was fully booked for the entire month so we ended up having to go elsewhere. Thankfully our driver who picked us up from the airport stayed with us and took us to a nearby hotel and ensured we had a room for the night. Tup Kaek Resort wasn't helpful at all, and actually seemed a little annoyed. I reached out to Expedia customer service to see if there was any way I could get a refund or credit to my account, acknowledging that it was my mistake but hoping maybe we could get even a partial refund to offset the extra cost. Apparently the Hotel marks the stay as "completed" even if the guest never checks in. I obviously had no idea I had booked the incorrect dates until we showed up there, but it would have been nice to get a courtesy call from the hotel to inquire as to why we had not checked in. Because the hotel marked the booking as completed, expedia is unable to offer any refund or credit and the hotel is unwilling to offer anything. Of all the places we have stayed in SE asia, everyone has been SO lovely and accommodating but unfortunately I didn't feel this resort was friendly at all. "

"Great Service, and the staff is fantastic. They knew every detail about our dietary needs and checked in to ensure we were having a wonderful time. The views from our room overlooking the sea was breathtaking. Food was amazing. We ate several meals at the hotel and each time they exceeded our expectations. Overall they made it a memorable stay. "This is a beautiful resort hotel. The whole place is immaculate. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and never too busy. Tea & coffee is served to you which saves queuing for the machine. They will also give you a drink to take away if you want one. There are many sunbeds around the grounds. We never managed to get one near the pool. I think these are reserved very early and I cannot be bothered to get involved in the early morning sunbed rush! All the staff were very friendly and helpful. There are several good restaurants and bars very close to the hotel. Overall this was a great place to stay. "
