"In terms of amenities and value for money, Dormy Inns is easily my favourite hotel chain in Japan. The biggest plus is of course the Onsen, with suana and outdoor bath, but they also cater to so many little things: free late hour noodles, free popsicles and treats on the Onsen floor, free coffee, tea (all locations) or lemoade (some locations). I'm not sure if this is true for other hotels in Japan but I have now stayed at 5 different Dormy Inns and on average check-in has tsken 2 minutes and check-out has been 10-15 seconds."

"We are very happy with the staying in this hotel. The staffs are nice & helpful. Breakfast was simple but nice and fulfilling. The hotel is closest to everything and the price is affordable."

"The host was very welcoming and made everything very fun. He had mican and snacks and water for us. He didn't speak much English, but he had a detailed book about the place with pictures and explanations in English. The place was so Quaint and over 100 years old, but we'll maintained and clean with modern amenities. The futon and bedding were very comfortable. We loved the elaborate garden with fish to feed and the whole ryokan experiences. We were going to go to Matsuyama for shopping after checknin, but decided to stay at the ryokan instead to enjoy the experience."

Also wanted to give a shoutout to the wonderful hotel staff who promptly answered my email query about a makeup pouch i left there and sent it to my next hotel. Would stay there again if i have the opportunity to visit Matsuyama another time."

"We are traveling in the Shikoku Rail pass, the walk to the hotel from Goro station was about 20. We used a bus and taxis to get into Iyo Ozu town. The area around the hotel has built up afoind the interchange so s good vsriety if shops and restaurants around the hotel. The rooms were a bit small for two but workable. Lots of amenities such as breakfast included (excellent btw) a happy hour at 8 with non and alcoholic beverages until 8 Pm. The hotel has s large onsen style bath which is excellent. Hotel staff are super nice and helpful, calling us cabs as needed"

"It is a little far away from JR Matsuyama station, but it is reasonably near by of major tourists’ destinations such as Matsuyama castle and Dogo hot spring spa. Breakfast was excellent. "

"Great location right by the Okaido shopping street. The hotel itself is a small, clean business hotel, and the price was really reasonable — perfect for a quick stay while traveling. The room is small, but the bed was comfy and the bathroom was clean and well taken care of. Overall, a solid budget-friendly option if you just need a simple and convenient place to stay."
