"Pros: The room was great for 3-4 people. The place wasn’t too crowded. The room was clean, and fresh towels and trash taken out daily. Staff was nice, and the rooms were clean. Amenities were great! Pool was great! Inside and outside option is awesome to have. Seemed like there was a bunch of options for kids to do throughout the day and night. Hotel was close to everything and was great to get in and out of. Cons: TV wasn’t working right for the first 3 days. Maintenance and front staff were told multiple times. Once the right maintenance guy showed up, we were able to get it working. Inside pool would close the slides randomly, sometimes closing them for over an hour in the middle of the day. No one understood what the purpose was. Lifeguards weren’t consistent on rules. One day you can walk on the side of the lazy river, other days you couldn’t. Shower curtain doesn’t reach the bottom of the shower, so water would cover the floor when you get out. Overall, it was a great time. I would stay there again!"

Edgewater Hotel - Gatlinburg

"A bit confusing to figure out which floor everything was on at first. Check in quick and easy. Elevator and hallways could use deep cleaning but room and balcony was clean, especially the bathroom! Room was cool, beds and pillows were very comfortable, linens clean and in good repair. Lovely views of river and mountains from balcony. I spent a little of time out there during our 4 night stay. Very convenient to the strip. In fact, we parked when we arrived on Thursday and did’t get back into our vehicle until we checked out on Monday. Appreciated the larger size frig and the microwave. I wasn’t impressed w the pool. Too small for a hotel that size and no steps for entering or exiting the outdoor side of the pool, only a ladder which is not too good for seniors. Plus they had some kind of issue w fumes on the inside portion while I was there which drove all the kiddos outside. Never went down for breakfast so I can’t speak on that. I would definitely stay again, especially if just planning to stay on the strip."
