"Beautiful hotel I was very surprised the pictures definitely doesn’t do it justice it is way nicer than the pictures! Pet friendly, no carpet which is always a plus with animals, kitchen has dishes, employees are very friendly and definitely have more patience than me😂(I had my 7 y/o in the lobby with me)!!! Will definitely make this my go to everytime I come to visit!"

Edgewater Hotel - Gatlinburg

10/10 Excellent

"Staff was wonderful. Hotel is older. But that gives it a Historic/Unique vibe. Hotel is safe and QUIET. Located a block away from the strip in Gatlinburg. Easy walk to shops, Restaurants and activities. Did have to pay for parking. But security was on sight. (maybe for the Bears?) Breakfast was good with a beautiful river view. We reserved a Mountian view room which is great for light sleepers."

"My family and I enjoyed the nice indoor pool and hot tub. Very kid friendly pool! I personally liked the gym and scenery from the balcony. Elegant looking lobby and elevators. On site restaurant and place to order pizza by the pool. We used the free trolley service that picks up at the Park Vista entrance. It took us into town and brought us back each day. Friendly drivers and great amenity. This is our go to hotel in Gatlinburg."

"Our bedroom floors were so greasy and dirty we couldn't even walk barefoot & my toddlers kept slipping. Our bed sheets were filthy and covered in hair and definitely were used. The pool was so packed full of people we couldn't go in. Breakfast was ok. We stayed here before and it was fine that's why we came back but very disappointed won't stay here again"

"It all started at check in, when we arrived there were only 2 front desk agents, and many people checking in... there was a concert that night too. Not properly staffed. This entire establishment needs a massive scrub down and update. All common areas are dingy and dirty, fixtures are crooked..it just looks terrible. Ive stayed in ma y different casinos and this one is bar far the dirtiest and dated with a high proce tag. I paid $300/night for what was referred as a luxury room that had hair all over the bathroom, dirt and dust in all corners, dated everything in the room, lamp shade was cracked and dirty. I cut my leg on the glass on the coffee table when I walked by it and bumped into it. It was a horrible experience honestly and we will not return."

"Always spotless, well maintained and nicely appointed. A beautiful property and our Go To when in the area. The only negative, and it is a small one, is every visit we have had the front desk staff is aloof and seemingly above the normal friendly and welcoming attitude one would expect. Their approach is even more obvious when compared to the rest of the staff on property."
