There was plenty of room in the bedroom for the travel cot we brought with us, and they provided a high chair on arrival. The apartment was also dog friendly so our little pooch was able enjoy the trip with us (at a cost of £25 per night). “Issue with the TV cutting out. Unsure if the smoke alarm works in room 9 as there was no light on it and no map of escape egress route if stairs not available.”

“The property was lovely with well furnished. Sadly the hot water in the shower wasn’t working despite reporting it after the first day. Cold showers aren’t very nice. When paying top price for accommodation the hot water should a given, essential part of the service. Plus the cleaners were knocking on the door before the allotted 10am check out!!”

“We stayed for 3 nights and wished it could have been more. The hotel is in very good shape. Everything has been well thought out and the decor works seamlessly from reception to lounge, conservatory. Restaurant, corridors , landings and bedroom. Spotlessly clean, fresh towels and bedding. Lovely bathroom, plenty of hot water. Staff very friendly, pleasant and efficient. Food was excellent each breakfast and evening meal. The external seating areas worked well with well laid out patio and garden....

“It's an old castle built in the 811 or there abouts, they maintain a formal dining room one for dinner and another for breakfast, there's also a small TV room, there's a games room on the first floor with a pool table. The bedroom was warm and big and nicely furnished, nice size bathroom and clean. I enjoyed my stay. There's a kitchen and you can use the menu to place your order. ”
