Quite and relaxing beach get-a-way in N. Brazil

Boutique hotel with 35 rooms, full pool and beach facilities. The service is outstanding. A perfect place to spend a honeymoon or week away with family. For local flavor, just down the beach (east) are kiosks that sell food. Bring an interpreter if you can't speak Portuguese.

Beautiful place

The hotel is very nice with an exceptional view and private beach. The team is really nice though very few of them speak English. They are trying to do their best. The food is not at the level of a 5 stars and lot of kids shooting with parents with shorts and flipflop at the restaurant but we really enjoy our stay and many thanks to the team and Thiago who upgraded us.

Very good resort if you want to relax

We loved our stay at Carmel Charme Resort. The beach is very nice and clear, pool is excellent. We were also very pleased with the service. Everyone was very nice to us. The only downside was the restaurant. It was not at the same level as the rest of the resort (except for the breakfast, which was also very good). Even tough the resort package did not include lunch or dinner, we ended up having our meals at the resort, but wished we had other options around, as the restaurant did not live to the expectations.

O Carmel Charme Resort nos proporcionou uma experiência excepcional. Desde a recepção feita pela Mariana, com as orientações de boas-vindas e um upgrade de quarto, percebemos o cuidado com a experiência do hóspede. Destaco também a Luciane (Guest Relations) e o garçom Liano, sempre extremamente atenciosos. O resort é lindo, muito bem cuidado e oferece uma extraordinária experiência de descanso no Brasil. Para quem conhece a rede Explora, este foi um dos hotéis brasileiros que mais me lembrou esse padrão de hospitalidade: equipe muito bem treinada e atenção aos detalhes e serviço. O café da manhã é excelente, com buffet e pratos preparados na hora, e o Spa Caudalie é maravilhoso. Uma dica: existe uma área pé na areia, ideal para casais, com bar e espreguiçadeiras, muito mais tranquila que a piscina principal. Como melhorias, sugiro fiscalizar melhor a proibição de fumar, pois vimos hóspedes descumprindo a regra sem abordagem da equipe. A academia também deveria restringir a entrada de crianças, por questão de segurança. Encontramos ainda pequenas falhas de manutenção no quarto (lâmpadas) e a cama (que tem um pillow top) poderia ser revisto. O único atendimento abaixo do excelente padrão do hotel foi o check-out, realizado pela recepcionista Jeane. No mais, parabenizo a família Carneiro de Melo. Foi ótimo estar na casa de vocês. Voltaremos e queremos conhecer as demais unidades da rede Carmel.

O atendimento pelos funcionários - todos, sem exceção - é fator que se distingue positivamente. Funcionários educados, atenciosos e dispostos a servir. Registro apenas uma reclamação, qual seja, à pertinente à limpeza do aparelho de ar condicionado. Quando cheguei o quarto estava com cheiro de poeira oriundo do ar condicionado. Certo é que, assim que pedi a mudança do quarto fui prontamente atendimento, mas fica o registro.
