“This is a unique property - nothing run of the mill about it. Great breakfast. It is setup in a great looking valley with hills all around. Rooms were quirky and amenities were good.”

“There are too many stairs and no elevator. Some rooms do not have AC. The hotel is on Galway Bay and the grounds are beautifully kept with walking trails to the rocky beach. It is about 7 miles from Galway which could be an issue for some without their own transportation. We would stay there again.”

“The location of this hotel is both spectacular and dramatic. We booked the sea view superior room. We were allocated room 147. What a room, if it’s not the best in the hotel I would like to see what is. Amazing wrap around views of the coast and a copper tub in the corner of the room to admire them from. Outstanding.! “The gardens were incredible. Lots of paths . Very cozy place. Breakfasts were great! The room smelled damp and moldy. Rooms were large and nice except for smell. The bar was fun every night . Very cozy except for leather couches and chairs that you sank in (really sank in). We stayed 6 days with my family we had 4 rooms. The food was great! Except 90% fish dishes. We were not fish eaters. Last we stayed for the day but they do not serve lunch there.”
