"The hotel was in a nice location and close to a lot of attractions. Being close to everything at times made it kind of noisy with all the things going on in the street below. The staff was real friendly and was very accommodating to out needs. It was also very convenient to the train station. Breakfast was good every morning with a nice selection of local fruit and juices. I would stay here again if I'm ever in Cusco."

"I really enjoyed the friendly and helpful staff. They were welcoming and didn’t hesitate to answer any questions I had. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. With a lot of beautiful views all around. I had used the spa services (jacuzzi, dry sauna, steam room, and a massage) and they exceeded my expectations. The waitstaff at the restaurant were kind and attentive. And, I tried a lamb shank with mashed yucca and it was flavorful and delicious. The included breakfast also had a great assortment of options. If you are looking for peace and quiet and friendly staff and spa amenities, this is the place to go. The compound felt safe and secure and the resident alpacas were an added bonus to the serenity of the space. I would definitely book here again."

"Great hotel central Cuzco. Great atmosphere . However going to the restaurant required walking stairs which my spouse couldn’t do. We settled for room service and that was good. Breakfast was suppose to start at 4:30 am but only cold food was available until 5 am. They should have two people doing breakfast not one."

"We stayed 1 night after Machu. It’s a solid little hotel. Excellent location and nice room. The view outside the window was of the Fortress! Very cool! There was complementary water bottles, a hot pot and various teas in the room, which was nice. My sheets were crisp and clean but my daughter said hers were not? The beds were very comfortable. We slept with the window open and it was perfect weather. The water situation was interesting. We had to put the knobs in a precise alignment for the water to turn off completely and there was NO WATER for part of the day. The manager said it would be back on at 5:00. It seems like it’s a common occurrence. It worked out fine because we were gone from the room and it was back on when we returned. The breakfast was the usual fair. The bread everywhere in Peru is amazing. The cook made an omelette with onions at our request and it was fantastic! They were kind enough to store our luggage. Overall good experience."
