Absolutely stunning resort. The pools and the view of the ocean is gorgeous. A bit pricy for food and drinks by the pool. Definitely rent a car as there is limited shuttle service to and from the resort to the town of Porto Cervo. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely stay again!

Loved our stay at the resort. Staff was wonderful and the resort is beautiful. I'd upgrade the toiletries as they were very average for a 5* resort and a hair dryer was something you'd find in a 3* hotel. These are minor things though, we had a wonderful time and would come back. Staff was also incredibly helpful and attentive.

Beautiful Grounds, Pool and Beach area

Great location, about 10 min drive from Porto Cervo. Huge pool area and nice private beach. Staff very friendly. Cleaning staff very efficient. It was nice to see turtles roaming the property. I recommend them to offer Irons and Ironing boards to guests instead of having to pay for the service. Don’t like their ticket system for the pool tools

Beautiful hotel with stunning grounds, pools and beach. We chose to swim at the beach, such a lovely setting, and the sea was warm. The pools appeared to be unheated. The rooms were quite tired for a 5 star hotel, but our garden view room was comfortable, quiet and not overlooked. The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout. The half board option was excellent value and the evening meal choice, with waiter service, fabulous. The only thing that let the hotel down was breakfast, which was very limited for a hotel of this size. The standard scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, plus cold meats and cheese, and lots of cake! The smoked salmon was very good though... Reception staff were efficient and friendly, and kindly helped us with a couple of issues during our stay. We took advantage of the useful free shuttle into Porto Cervo one day, a 2 hour visit was probably all that was needed, although we stayed longer. Plenty of parking in the hotel grounds and the road outside. We thoroughly enjoyed out three nights at the hotel, thank you Colonna Resort!

Warning to discerning travelers.

Food is the quality of an American strip mall Italian chain. This is not a 5 star hotel. Nice views, nice pool, but that is were it ends. When I complained about the food, they threw me out of the restaurant. The manager came over and started lifting plates off my table and told me I was not welcome there. No thank you I don't want your $5 frozen grocery store ravioli. You spend $800night for a room thinking this is the Four Seasons, instead it is the Olive Garden

A lovely “must visit again” vacation.

The hotel is amazing; multiple swimming pools, great private beach, friendly staff, good and quick service, food is delicious. The negatives: espresso machine at the room cost €2.5 euros per day, no water for free (only available upon check-in. The curtains can only help 80% of sunshine, next-door occupants may be heard “soft walls and it wakes you up”. Anyways, i will come again here due to the mentioned points and the near locations to touristic points and porto cervo. 4 to 5 nights is enough for North East Sardinia.
