“We had a lovely stay at Askot Cottages and were sad to leave! The cottage was very cosy and has been very thoughtfully designed. The bed was very comfortable and we loved the gorgeous view from the big window. We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights twice while we were there! We also appreciated the small touches, with plenty of tea and coffee for our stay, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel provided. There is even a small shop where they have basics you can purchase (cash only). Having...

“This was truly a luxurious glamping experience. The shared kitchen and dining area were exceptionally well designed and equipped. The shower facilities and restrooms were spotless, and there was always plenty of hot water. The shared lounge, created from a beautifully renovated barn, was an incredibly charming, cozy, and welcoming space where we loved spending time. Inside the tent, the heater and electric blanket kept us perfectly warm throughout our stay, and we never felt cold at all....

“The accommodation was spacious, but had lots of room for improvement. It met the minimum standard of cleanliness (the bedding and mattresses were clean) but overall it is a worn-out farmhouse and there were bugs, cobwebs, etc. The windows could use curtains for privacy especially in the bathroom. Meeting the farm animals was fun. There are many dogs and cats as well as typical farm animal like sheep. It is probably not a good fit for people who like neat and tidy accommodations, but...

“Amazing property, very accommodating and well maintained. Absolutely would stay again!”

“Kristinn, the host was amazing. We simply asked for a later check out and she gave us an additional 2 hours, no problem. Place was adorable, hot-tubs were hot, plenty of parking for us all.”

“Room was big and clean that was fairly comfortable. The unit felt private. The hot tub was nice more like a hot bath outside but still pretty sweet. Beautiful area very close to the Golden Circle.”

“We liked the location and the cabin, our only critique is it was really icy trying to get up the drive up with our luggage.”

“Fantastisk og helt unik sted!”
