You get what you pay for

We stayed here on a big night put on coalvile so idea for location. The shower was ..sorry ...the worst ahower i have ever had. It was wither freezing cold or boiling hot. The pressure was a dribble. Dated rooms. Bed had spings in my back but luckilt it wasnt for long as we got back late. No key to room but a code. Overall a bit rubbish really

Run down. Suspect no investment for 30 years or more. Marks on bedding. Worn, broken and botched fixtures and fittings. 1 plug socket in room, and opposite side of room to the kettle.

Don't use this hotel

This was the worst hotel accommodation I have ever had. The room was not en suite and was pokey and could have done with a good clean The hotel smelled of new paint and the carpets were filthy. The showers were old and very small. This hotel should not be used

nice old building a bit quirky..winding staircases old beams etc. clean and comfortable room..the only downside j would say was the sink a wee bit on the small side ..but i would stay again

it was appalling how anyone could charge for this is beyond me . Toilet leaking, and it smelt disgusting, didn't even offer a reduced rate. Overall it was filthy . Its only saving grace was that it was central. Won't be coming back and will find a better place to lay my head.

Sorry .... disappointed with the property. Glad I stayed on night. My room was next to a Night club. Though I returned to my room after midnight, the sound of the music was in my room. I could actually hear the voices of the ravers!

Very nice stay and good welcome - but we were thrown out of our rooms an hour earlier than the promised checkout time - all the staff had to say was its always been 10am and they had no idea what the promise was - no apology!

Check In was very basic. Run down hotel needs a lot of TLC l. Sheets had blood on. Old school punch in code security not ideal. Cleaners wake you up noisy and eager to get you out before 11am check out. Great location lovely town
