“Lovely place. We booked last minute and the room was ready. Lovely room. Comfy bed. Very clean room and lots of tea coffee etc in the room. Lee the landlord was great when we arrived even though we had only booked that morning. Really nice pub and food was fantastic. I would definitely not hesitate to come back.”

“Parking at the back which was easy to find. Plenty spaces free while we were there in July. Gorgeous decked terraces at the back with flowers and lights. We entered car reg on the screen as we went in & went to check-in. This was an easy process and staff member was polite & efficient. We were shown to our room at the top of the first lot of stairs & the staff member explained about breakfast etc. Lovely sized room overlooking King Street. We were there during a heatwave, but the room was cool....

“Absolutely charming! The owner and staff outdid themselves with welcoming us later in the evening and making sure to seat us in the quite lovely dining room for a hot meal before retiring to our spacious guest room upstairs. The room was today and had lots of thoughtful amenities: tea, coffee, a variety of snacks, lots of toiletries. Breakfast was very good and served with warmth and hospitality. Definitely a wonderful place to stay. ”

“Everything was wonderful with the exception of no air-conditioning or fans. Of course it was an unusual heat wave, but it would’ve made it a lot more comfortable. A small fridge would’ve been nice as well so we could keep our drinks cool. But the pub was great. breakfast was very nice and we had a wonderful time.”

“Worst place to pay for. No working fan, can’t open windows and no air in the room. Very terrible dirty smell in the room and bathroom. Paid for 2 days and immediately came into room, was traumatized. They refused to do anything or even issue me a refund. I had to book another better hotel immediately and left there. So I couldn’t sleep at their hotel but went to another place at my own expense to show how terrible it is. It is not a hotel as they portray but restaurant that sell beer and has...
