“Generally this Cottage was in bad condition. The wall and bathroom was wet with water and door handle was bad conditon.”

“We had 2 emails before we arrived, one from Heimleiga CS and one from Godo Property. Each assigned us a different room and key box codes. This was very confusing. The apartment was clean and new. Not a grain of salt or coffee on the premises so you need to take all the basics or else buy locally. Good blackout curtains and quiet at night. We could not get the tv to work but otherwise all was good. It is a central location and if you want to eat out there are several options close by. Heimaey...

“A 2-bedroom accommodation on the ground floor of the farm, fully accessible for persons with disabilities. The kitchen is fully equipped, though guests are advised to bring their own oil. You can see cows on the farm and horses around.”

“This was a wonderful place to stay! The owner was exceptional in taking care of our needs! It felt like we were staying with family—it was quiet—the bed could have been a little more comfortable—and it would be nice to have a place for suitcases—I would come back and highly recommend it!”

“Large, clean and spacious 2 bedroom house. We didn't really use the kitchen but it seemed well stocked. The bathroom was clean and there is a washing machine. It is about a 10 min drive from the main highway and there is a good restaurant at a nearby campground that is a 5 min drive away. Grocery store and gas station 10 min away at the main highway. The only complaint I have is the towels were small thin and scratchy. Otherwise great stay!”
