Travelled with the wife on a getaway - clean, quiet, small old Italian town, good vibes, good food options walking distance from the hotel, convenient, very safe, great night life, basically fell in love with Asti. There is a grocery store right in front of the hotel. I would recommend a stay here anytime. Be sure to message the hotel and reserve your free parking if you are driving. "

"the owners of the property could not do enough and were must charming. Carlo and Paola work so terribly hard but always ready to talk and smile with the guests. It is very much a family hotel with the gentle Nonna always about to help if she can.

"Beautifully located at the outskirts of a small village, this quiet and charming place is full of surprises:
They make their own wine and it is absolutely delicious. Not to mention honey, and fruity dressings. Dinner and breakfast will remind you of your grandmother’s Sunday cooking with a gastronomical quality. Horseback riding around the area is both exciting and relaxing somehow.
The owner and the staff are nice, knowledgeable, accommodating and truly genuine.

"Spent 4 nights at Hotel Calissano in August while doing wine tours. Chose it based on a recommendation from the tour guide and it did not disappoint. Staff was very friendly at the reception, the bar, and the restaurant. It is a five minute walk to the pedestrian zone of Alba so the location is excellent and easily accessible. It is a 10 minute walk from the train station. My room was a good size and very comfortable. Despite being next to the elevator, it was very quiet. Would happily recommend Hotel Calissano and will stay there again the next time I am in Alba."

"The perfect getaway in a quiet Italian village, away from all the noise of big cities! It was close enough to a small city to get what you needed but none of the traffic and noise. Staff was peasant, place was comfortable, and the 360 degree view of the surrounding area was breathtaking! The spa was amazing for a moment to wind down and relax, and drinks by the pool were lovely. The whole space of the hotel was a wonderful escape into a peaceful vacation with great food, wine, and relaxation. "
"The staff were very friendly and helpful. Since the hotel is a block away from the town center it was very quiet but easy to walk everywhere. I was disappointed the restaurant and terrace weren’t open, but that’s just a seasonal thing. I would definitely stay again. And having parking was very helpful. "
