Estava indo tudo bem no Domingo, até o momento de passar por um constrangimento de cobrança das diárias no check out. Tiraram fotos da minha reserva com meus dados e nada de confirmar, até o momento em que consegui ligar para a ajuda do Hotéis.com quando fui informado que era tudo um mal entendido por parte do Hotel. Após este ocorrido, apesar de ter avisado de consumo no frigobar poderia ter ainda saido sem pagar, mas paguei as 3 águas consumidas. Não saberia dizer se o problema foi no sistema do hotel ou do atendente, enfim deu tudo certo no final.

Hotel pequeño pero muy bonito, tranquilo y personal muy amable. A pesar de que hay que caminar un poco los mall principales están como a 10 minutos a pie!!

The Place to Stay In/Around Asuncion, Paraguay

If you are coming to Asuncion, strongly consider staying at the Arthaus Boutique. It's about 5-10 minutes outside of "downtown" Asuncion, but as you'll find, there really isn't much in "downtown" Asuncion. Instead the area around Arthaus is a more upscale area with private homes, and walking distance to two major shopping areas, restaurants, and higher end spots. I highly recommend it over the main city area. Javier the owner speaks perfect English. He was born in the States, I believe. He's tremendously helpful and has great stories. He helped me find someone to drive me around the country and give a private tour (in Spanish) and recommended one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at. You're not going to find much tourist infrastructure in Paraguay, so it pays to know someone who can make good recommendations. Javier is that guy. The hotel is a converted house slowly becoming a hotel. Its not overly flashy or fancy, you walk through an outside garden and up a winding staircase to get to your room. Though it provides what you need, is clean, and the internet is good. If you're coming to Paraguay, I'd absolutely recommend staying here. It's worth it simply for the ability to talk with Javier, especially as an English speaker, it will take some of the barrier away from coming to one of the South American countries where English is not often spoken.

Hotel in old condition

The hotel is well located, near shoppings and new area in Asuncion. The owner is always there. I was no lucky with the room assigned, it was the oldest one and the attendant told me he could not change it because the hotel was full during my stay. The staff is very nice, and they told me that other rooms, the new part of the hotel is nice, but I was in the old part, the economic one. May be that was the point.

Cama e chuveiro bons. Bairro excelente. Café da manhã com poucas opções. O atendimento é muito bom por parte de todos os funcionários e proprietário. Nosso quarto tinha um pouco de cheiro de mofo e pó (n°7). Creio que os quartos da outra torre são melhores.

Family feeling

The personel was all wonderful. They picked me up early in the morning and tooked me back to the airport. The treatment from the moment I was picked up to the last minute was like family. Everyone smile and show happiness in their work and that is a nice feeling.

Ótimo lugar para ficar em Assunção

Tivemos uma ótima experiência no Hotel Arthaus. É um hotel do tipo boutique. Pequeno mas charmoso. Muito bem localizado em uma vizinhança bonita e segura. Bem perto de dois shoppings e das linhas de ônibus para o centro. Há um gostoso restaurante mexicano nas instalações do hotel. O dono do hotel é uma pessoa excepcional, carismático e fala um ótimo português. Vale a pena bater um bom papo com ele.

BOM CUSTO BENEFÍCIO, MELHOR ATENDIMENTO DO MUNDO!!

Em termos de serviço é nota 1000! Destaque para os funcionários Sr. Gabaglio e José que são excepcionais (até nos levaram de carro a restaurante e shopping em dias de chuva). Fazem de tudo pra que você se sinta em casa. O hotel é super bem decorado, os quartos são confortáveis com ar quente/frio, TV com canais a cabo e uma cama maravilhosa. A melhorar o café da manhã, que é bom mas poderia ser mais variado, adicionando um bolo, diferentes pães, uma sanduicheira, melhores sucos e o chuveiro. Fui no inverno e o chuveiro aquecido por boiling não dá vazão de manter a água quente por dois banhos seguidos. Nos mantivemos no mesmo quarto porque esse tipo de aquecedor não da conta mesmo, mas o hotel deveria revê-los.
