Freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal. Sprechen leider noch weniger englisch als ich und die Handtücher müffeln. Mein Zimmer war riesig, das Bett bequem. Frühstück war okay, wenn auch wenig Auswahl. Lage ist gut, habe mich sicher gefühlt.

Historic Colonial Style Hotel
The hotel is in a historic colonial style building in the center of the city. Beautifully renovated. Helpful and friendly staff. My room was super - large, high ceilings, modern air conditioning with a comfy bed. Great feel to the place.

Assuncion Palace Hotel: uma edificação lindíssima, que faz parte da História do Paraguai, que foi moradia da família Venâncio Lopez e se tornou um Hospital para os feridos da Guerra que fizemos contra aquele país... É antigo, muito bem preservado, o elevador mantém suas caracteristicas mas vê-se que os maquinários são modernos, um hotel limpíssimo, quartos lindos, uma joia arquitetônica da cidade...Ótimo atendimento.

Historical Hotel with great service.
We spent 6 nights at this family run hotel located in historic area of town. There are restaurants within walking distance. The service was outstanding! The room was clean and comfortable. Housekeeping was excellent. It’s the first place we stayed where staff change the bed spread every other day!!! Good breakfast with excellent service from staff. Good AC and WiFi in the rooms. The location is We took Uber’s to newer part of town.

Prédio histórico de 1890, construido por Venancio Lopes, irmão do famoso Marechal Lopes, Presidente do Paraguai na época da Guerra ( do Paraguai ou da Tríplice Aliança, segundo eles ), reformado e modernizado, porém com tópicos que não se vê mais, como o elevador com porta Pantográfica. Sra Graziella, a dona muito simpática, conduzindo funcionários muito educados e gentis. RECOMENDO

Excellent value for money
Great hotel in the centre of Asuncion with real old world charm. Basic very spacious room with nice balcony, good breakfast. Staff are very helpful. One staff member (unfortunately I've forgotten his name) phoned several shops for us to help us find a football shirt for our grandson - successfully! Would recommend this placee - has a charm that you do not find in the chain hotels.

Lo que no entendemos es como puede ser no variado un Desayuno con frutas, jamón, queso, mermeladas, mantequilla, miel, dulce le leche, torta, jugos, café, té....etc. y el costo de la estadía tan sólo 68 dólares X día X 3 pasajeros. A 23 dólares cada uno. Es difícil con este costo . Agradecemos su visita y le informamos que olvidaron unas zapatillas de deporte.

I had a nice stay !
Very friendly and professional staff, good accommodations in a renovated historic building. Decorated with very good taste in a rustic spanish style, it provides a good stay. You can go on foot to the historic attractions and city centre of Asuncion City. There are taxis available right in front of the hotel, and bus stop about 2 blocks aways. There are bars, restaurants, drugstores, laundry and shops nearby. Good breakfast. Fair price.

Basic hotel in Central Asuncion
For a brief stay in Asuncion this hotel does the job. It's very simple but comfortable and the staff are very accommodating. It's in the centro, which can be far from other important parts of Asuncion, but is close to bars and restaurants to keep you entertained. There is parking available if needed, be sure to advise the staff because the spaces are limited.

For those interest in history and culture
Close to the nicest placest to see in Assuncin, historical sites, river Paraguay, nice bars, restaurants and shops just around the corner. Very nice staff. Simple but good breakfast. The hotel itself it´s an amazing old palace worth to see, even better to stay in. Highly recommended.

Esse hotel está numa construção histórica com mais de 150 anos de construção, está reformando, com muito conforto no quarto e nas áreas em comum, tudo muito limpo. Boa internet. clean and cheap with nice staff
forgot to mention that can be noisy due to nearby traffic and free breakfast not that good but there is good coffee and toast and cereal. No eggs. at 3 am there is a car with loud speaker selling things. weird

Nice old rustic building in center of old city
Clean, spacious and walking distance to major attraction. At the corner of streets Estrella and Colon. Staff pleasant and helpful. 20 dollars each way to and from the airport. Cabs take US dollars. Had a good sleep. Nice private balcony. Cheap but good.

Hotel conveniente, sim.
É a quarta vez que hospedo neste hotel. Gosto muito do atendimento dos funcionários. Porém, nesta última, diferente das outras estadias, cheguei e encontrei o guarda roupa todo empoeirado (eu mesmo limpei), não gostei do banheiro, faltada um abajur, o que tinha era ruim, uma lâmpada queimada no quarto e o frigobar estava no chão, não em um móvel. Se você tiver problemas de coluna, não conseguiria acessá-lo sem sentir dor na coluna, não foi o meu caso, mas fica a dica.

De uma forma geral os funcionários foram atenciosos, porém o hotel mostra uma situação de total decadência, sem manutenção, como por exemplo a porta do banheiro com verniz desgastado e com fechadura quebrada, cabides de toalhas totalmente soltos, porta do terraço emperrada etc. De uma forma geral tudo é muito velho e o café da manhã é muito fraco. Lolcalizado em uma região feia e aparentemente perigosa. Naõ recomendo

Good location. Access to downtown Asuncion
I picked this hotel because of the location to downtown Asuncion. Also the building is an old style dating back to the beginning of the last century which I think its really picturesque. Overall its an Ok hotel if your looking to stay for a night or two near downtown. The area its not the best, as its close to the port and old part of town. Safe area to work, some nightclubs in the area around. Half a block you have taxis available 24hs. Breakfast is ok..but could be better. If your looking for a complete free breakfast then do not stay here, as its not the best. No pool, but has a nice rooftop where you can go and relax and breath the air at night. Internet is not very good if you stay in some rooms. Front desk is very helpful and always happy to assist you.
