"Windows in this hotel are very old and not sound proof. Had to put a towel on the sill to dampen the noise. Still, heard loud drunk party going folks until 4AM. Then, reserved the hotel cab for 1pm only to find out there was nothing arranged when we showed up at 12:50. They”sold us on a nice Lexus” for travel to BWI, then switched us to an old, dirty Camry. The taxi driver was nice and respectful but we had the rug pulled out from under us at the Alexandrian Hotel. Sorry, but won’t be back. "

"Second stay. Sadly, experience declined from the first. Window shade broken. Children running, screaming in the halls and lobby. Dog barking and running in the hall 6:30 AM. Staff overwhelmed? Just not on their game in the same way as previous visit. Cleanliness good. Good location for walking to shops/restaurants"

"Staff was very friendly and professional. Our room was comfortable and clean. We liked the large rain shower head. The location was great for metro, bus and Amtrak travel. Also the free Trolley and Dash stopped across the street. If we return to Old Town we would stay here. "

"The staff was very helpful. We were given dining suggestions and tour options. The hotel was clean and conveniently located near the Metro. The trolley stops at the hotel for easy access to anything on King Street."

"I stayed in one of the rooms that had a river view. The view was truly amazing since the glass was the entire back wall of the room (top to bottom; side to side). "

"Attended an event there and they did not explain how the parking worked. I told them I was going to be there through Sunday evening and paid the parking fee and when I checked out I doubled checked it was okay my car was still there. When I went to leave I was told I had to pay an extra day fee, but there wasn't even a parking attendant there. Had to pay an extra $25 when I could have just parked on the street for free. Will not be staying here and instead will choose the Hyatt down the street going forward for future events at this location."

"Great location and spacious room. The fold out coach bed was not very comfortable but they never are. Easy walking distance to good restaurants. "
