Nice view, noisy traffic!
The room is facing the ocean, but very noisy from busy road outside! Nice service but breakfast was not the best, cold water for the Tea and the scrambled eggs was to hard, and no bacon, only som warmed up ham!

The Galaxy off loaded us to another hotel which The hotel did not take into account critical information that i was in a wheelchair. it was disasterous . They should take extra care of people who have accessibity issues

Kleines abgewohntes Hotel in Strandnähe
Man erreicht das Hotel vom Flughafen super mittels Express-Flughafenbus. Station quasi vor der Türe, so wie auch Tram in die City von Athen. Da aber Hotel direkt an 6 spuriger Straße liegt ist ein schlafen bei offenen Fenster unmöglich. Dafür gibt es aber gute Klimaanlage. Das Zimmer sowie ganze Hotel sind schon älter und abgewohnt. Sauberkeit war anfangs nicht so Top (besonders das Bad), wurde aber besser. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück ok und ausreichend. Strand ist quasi vor der Haustüre wenn man die Strasse endlich überquert hat. Am nähesten öffentlichen Strand hört man stark den Verkehr. Nebenan gibt es einen besseren Strand mit tollen Lokalen und Restaurant. Leider mit Eintritt (dafür aber Liegen inkludiert). Zusammengefasst ... wer nicht auf Luxus angewiesen ist und das Hotel nur zum Übernachten und Frühstücken braucht, der ist hier gut aufgehoben. Würde es weiterempfehlen, da um den Preis vollkommen in Ordnung. Ich war 1 Woche mit 2 Kindern im Hotel.

Very dirty
Rooms are very dirty, floors are filthy and shower curtains are moldy. Staffers have absolutely no pride in their work at this hotel, everything was dirty and there were roaches in the bathroom. Hotel is falling apart.

This is a very dirty hotel and there are roaches. I would not recommend this hotel. The only good part is that it's close to the beach and its centrally located.

Hotel OK, Obsługa bardzo miła i uczynna. Śniadanie standardowe, wersja kontynentalna. Niewątpliwą zaletą tego hotelu jest jego położenie, niedaleko Marina Alimos. Jeśli ktoś żegluje po wodach Attyki, doskonale zdaje sobie sprawę z zalety tego miejsca. Bardzo dobra komunikacja zarówno z Centrum Aten, jak również z lotniskiem i portem w Pireus. Polecam

Das Hotel liegt in der Schnell Strasse und gegenüber dem Meer. Es ist also ziemlich laut und nicht für diejenigen geeignet, die es ruhig haben möchten. Zumindest sollte man vorher nach einem ruhigen Zimmer fragen um nicht enttäuscht zu sein. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Jedesmal wenn ich in Athen finde ich dort immer meine passende Unterkunft und vor allem wenn die Hotels in der Nähe mit niedrigen Preisen ausgebucht sind. Der Frühstücksraum ist interessant, denn man sieht bis in der Ferne, das Meer. Es hat einen schönen Ausblick. Der Publikumsverkehr ist international und hat entsprechend ein angenehmen Flair. Auch befinden sich in der Nähe schöne Geschäfte und eine griechische Konditor Bäckerei neben dran und sie hat rund um die Uhr geöffnet. Der Lärm gehört einfach zu Griechenland. Es freut mich dann immer wieder für 2-3 Tage, Action zu erleben. Rundum ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis

Estadía muy agradable.
Muy buena estadía. Zona muy agradable, lo mismo que el personal. Nos resulto incómodo el espacio de ducha, que es muy reducido y es dificultoso el parking en las inmediaciones. Buen desayuno. Fácil acceso en vehículo al centro.

Very Noisy - Average Hotel
Firstly the ladies on reception were very friendly and welcoming + helpful. The room was small dated and tired. The noise from the road outside was relentless and keeps you awake with the constant horn noises. The breakfast was good and the room cleaned everyday, sadly it needs modernising and sound proofing before I would recommend a stay

Avoid this hotel
The hotel had no record of our expedia booking. They had one room, a dingy back room, although we had paid for a 'sea view'. The first night we were awake until 2am with the noise from 80 hyperactive Serbian teenagers running amok around the hotel. Next day we were moved to a front room (there is no real sea view!). The noise from the highway in front of the hotel was so loud that the balcony was unusable. The hotel seemed to recognise that because the chairs and table were filthy from the road pollution. The second night the Serbian teenagers ran wild up in the stairways and corridors until 3am with no action taken by the hotel. That and the incessant noise from traffic, including bikers racing along the road, meant little sleep. There were no bedside lights so it was only possible to read using the bare bulb in the ceiling light. Breakfast was awful. After the stale bread, dessicated scrambled eggs and dishwater tea on the first daywe gave up on the included breakfast and ate at the cafe across the road. We had also pre-booked the hotel to overnight after our sailing trip. Once again the hotel was full of over-excited teenagers. The desk staff were charming but useless. When we arrived at 4pm the smoke alarm in the corridor was beeping. After some hours nothing had been done so I got a battery from them and changed it myself! Do yourself a favour and give the Galaxy a miss. It is cheap but far from cheerful!

Great hotel close to beach and public transport
The hotel and room was clean. Staff very friendly. Nice restaurants and cafes next to the beach and back streets. Convenient location with public transport and by car to the city centre, Acropolis, airport and beaches along the coast. The buffet breakfast on the top level with great view was the highlight of this hotel. The only bad point was the noise from the outside traffic on the main road - even from the side building rooms. However, I would come again to this hotel on my next trip to Athens.

Convenient location. The rest terrible.
good location of you want public transport. Terrible if you have a car and need a parking place. the hotel does not offer any parking places and the area around has no available parking place. Outside the hotel and in the lobby it smells terrible (a mix of sewers and gas). The condition of the hotel is terrible. Walls need painting, they have wholes from drills, the doors and all the carpentry are very old and scratched, the door knobs are broken. The room (2 bed) was very small, the air conditioner smells, the bathroom very old with the shower mixer barely working. You cannot switch on the bathroom light without switching the main light on (very inconvenient during sleep time). The fresh towels weren't fresh at all, one of them was actually smelling bad. I had booked a double bed and I had 2 single beds put together instead. An overall disappointment. Terrible experience.

TThey said the room would be ready at 1pm but it wasn't ready until 4. Staff was unfriendly. TVs had only 1 working station. No security guard whatsoever. No room to lock things until checkin/out. By the beach and the bakery next door is really good.

Our stay in Galaxy Hotel was just like a nightmare, like a Greeks’ tragedy, the bed was very hard en there was not a decent showers. The lock on bathroom door was broken. I have been locked in for 45 minutes until one of the maid opened the door with a knife. In addition, when my husband asked for help, the staffs were not at all surprise. Because it was not the first time that a gust was locked in the bathroom but the owner of the hotel didn’t care. The breakfast was very simple. We will never go back to this hotel again. And we strongly don not recommend this hotel to anyone.
