This hotel was in a wonderful location in the charming Plaka neighborhood, a very short walk to the Acropolis. Breakfast was served at the Laduree restaurant on the ground floor below the hotel. The food, setting and staff were amazing. The hotel’s staff went above and beyond to assist us. We definitely recommend this hotel!

Lovely boutique hotel in easy walking distance to the Plaka. The front desk staff were exceptional. Breakfast was included as part of our stay and served at the Laduree and it was exceptional. Fresh squeezed juice, coffee, croissants and mini baguettes, Greek yogurt, eggs, all topped off with a macaron. A highly pleasant stay

Best location ever! This boutique hotel felt brand new — everything was beautifully designed, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. The shower was gorgeous, the bed linens felt luxurious, and every detail of the room made our stay feel relaxing and elevated. The staff was absolutely wonderful: kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. One of the highlights was the breakfast partnership with Ladurée, which felt so luxurious and delicious each morning. Our luggage was lost at the airport and the staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and accommodating in communicating in Greek with the airport luggage service. We felt very taken care of by their assistance. I would highly recommend this hotel for both its perfect location and exceptional hospitality. We would absolutely stay here again!

Nice hotel . Our suite is renovated , clean and comfortable. Renovated bathroom. Property is near shopping and dinning. However , it was advertised in Expedia as being 3 min walk from Acropolis but as it turned out the distance is 17 min . Disappointing fact since we booked this hotel with that in mind.

Location, location, location. We really enjoyed our stay at Nine Athens Hotel. The property and staff are Five Stars. The breakfasts were absolutely amazing, plentiful and delicious. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. There were church bells that were audible, however they were toned down and not bothersome at night. The area is at the start of the Plaka area and next to the Mitropoleos Square and was very central and close to shopping and restaurants.

Best hotel in Athens

Our stay at Nine Athens Hotel in Athens was absolutely exceptional! My boyfriend and I spent 4 nights here and from the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The hotel is brand new, impeccably clean, and feels very safe. It’s perfectly located in a vibrant neighborhood, yet tucked away on a quiet corner — just steps from a beautiful historic church. The breakfast each morning was delicious, the food from the restaurant was fantastic, and the drinks — the best we had in Athens! What truly made our experience unforgettable was the staff. Emmanuela and Juta were incredibly kind and helpful, always going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. They provided excellent recommendations for restaurants, things to see and do in the city, and even gave us suggestions for Greek islands to visit in the future. A special thank you to Panos, who made our evenings at the hotel bar memorable with his amazing cocktails. He also suggested we see a Greek tragedy play at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus — which turned out to be the highlight of our trip! His knowledge of the city and thoughtful tips made our Athens experience even richer. We truly can’t wait to return to Nine Athens Hotel. It was the perfect stay and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Athens — you’ll be in great hands!

My spouse and I stayed at the Nine prior to a cruise of the Greek Islands and again after the cruise. We were pleased with both stays. The location oh the hotel was perfect for our time exploring the ancient city and the proximity to shops and restaurants was excellent. The hotel itself was so comfortable. The rooms were large and efficiently designed. The staff was friendly, helpful and outstanding in every way. When planning our trip, we somewhat randomly chose the Nine as we had no idea where to stay. We consider ourselves fortunate in our selection of the Nine. It was exactly what we wanted.
