Excellent location close to many many restaurants and the acropolis. Very helpful staff and an excellent , free breakfast. Would definitely be our 1st choice for a hotel next visit
This hotel was centrally located and I loved that it's close to many cool places in Athens. I had a comfortable and relaxing time at this hotel. I loved its breakfast, cleanliness and ambience of this hotel.
This was a beautiful and unique hotel tucked in a lovely little neighborhood. Very convenient for walking to The Acropolis and there were many restaurants nearby. The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly and the breakfast was very good.
Everything was wonderful during our stay. The entire property was clean and really pretty. The staff was friendly and so helpful! I would highly recommend
The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff very attentive and friendly. I would definitely recommend this oasis in the dessert and return without reservation!
The accommodations were well maintained. The staff from the person who checks you in to the housekeeping staff very welcoming and polite. They made it easy to obtain transportation from airport to hotel and vice versa. Breakfast was included and they bring it to your room if you choose to. Great stay.
We have been choosing “Boutique Hotels “ for several years now and have been very pleased. This hotel was no exception. The room, staff, location and overall decor are absolutely fantastic. Very highly recommend this hotel to any discerning traveller.
The hotel is in a perfect location, walkable to acropolis major site seeing activities. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and shower was hot and great pressure. It just what we needed for our night in Athens. Would highly recommend!
The staff were so friendly, and the hotel was SO cute! The breakfast was lovely, it is served hot to you each day. Would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Athens. A short walk to the acropolis and any restaurant you need.
We loved our stay at Philia Hotel! The location is perfect, right in the middle of everything, with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. We ate at Ta Karamanlidika tou Fani, which was just a short walk from the hotel and definitely a plus! The complimentary breakfast was another great bonus. They also have a small luggage elevator, which is super helpful if you’re staying on one of the upper floors. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming, accessible, and helpful with arranging our taxi and recommending places to visit. Overall, such a warm and inviting atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Athens! 🤍✨
Yia Sas. I didn't expect much because the whole area is full of graffiti but the hotel was an absolute gem. Close to the Parthenon and even closer to Attic which is a fantastic rooftop restaurant that overlooks the Parthenon. The staff was excellent and the rooms were very nice and roomy which is rare in Europe. I highly recommend staying there
The boutique hotel has charm and an excellent location. What makes the stay so charming was the staff - nice, kind, and so helpful. The location is bohemian in feel. Psiri is a hip and vibing location. It is not Planka, It has edge which I found invigorating. And the food scene hidden behind unknown doors was incredible cuisine. Reminds me of the old East Village or old SoHo in NYC. I had a great time and would return again.
There was nothing we didn’t like about this property. The hotel is centrally located, within walking distance to many historic sites, shopping, local markets and restaurants. the breakfasts were plentiful and nutritious. The recommendations for local restaurants were spot on/excellent. Don’t be alarmed re the look of the area in terms of the tagging and graffiti on the local buildings as this is the way of life for Athens. We would definitely stay at the Philia Boutique Hotel if we had the opportunity to be in Athens again. FYI - I don’t usually write reviews, but this hotel is worth it.
This boutique hotel was lovely! The staff were always smiling, helpful and friendly. They answered all my pre arrival questions quickly and were very nice in person too. Never having been to Athens before, I was not sure where to stay. We chose this area due to recommendations and while we learned the area quickly, it was hard for our arrival driver to reach to hotel for drop off due to traffic. He asked us to get out about 2 blocks away and walk with our luggage due to the congestion in the area. We also needed to arrange a driver for an early morning flight to Santorini and it cost 75 euro! You might want to stay closer to the square or shops if you don’t want to walk a lot.

It has been some time since I was in a hotel that did not provide daily housekeeping service due to COVID-19. This included not providing clean bath towels on a daily basis. Simple amenities, such as umbrellas were not available for guests to use. They were also not part of amenities at this facility. I had to request glasses for drinking water as well. However, it a good location. The rooms were spacious. Lovely lobby. And the breakfast was really fresh and expansive and the staff was nice.
