Small narrow hotel with mini 2 person or person/luggage elevator. Rooms are large with 2 or 3 per floor. Had help with luggage taken up to room upon arrival (several trips) but had to haul our own down at checkout. Very convienient location. Walking to shopping and restaurants. Needed to flip breaker every time for hot water and wait or take a cold shower. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Maid serviced every day.

All is great and impressive they replace every day the towel and clean up kitchen. Towel normally in regular hotel is not replaced everyday. On the 3rd day they replace also the blanket of bed that is impressive. The dress cabinet needs to be replaced as it is already with tear and wear condition.

I had two rooms booked both were supposed to have a view of the Acropolis. The only way to see it is if you leaned out the windowfar enough. The mattress was so hard, felt like we were sleeping on a pull out couch. The wardrobe in our room301, was literally falling apart. The towels were thin and old. The best part were the restaurant across the street and the little breakfast place next door.

The had a great rooftop view of the acropolis as well as Athens. It’s in a very convenient location with many things to do near by.

First and foremost, Julius (the owner) was so incredibly helpful and friendly!!! Our bags were delayed 24hrs and helped guide us to pharmacies/etc, AND waited for our bags our first full day in Athens, so we could sightsee. He was also incredible at setting up car service from the airport. His property is a 5 floor boutique hotel IN EUROPE. Pls do not judge the property based on US standards (and sound like a typical American). Again, this is Europe, where elevators can be much smaller, rooms and bathrooms much smaller, and things are just different. We have been around thw world and LOVED 95% about this place! Owner, cleanliness, LOCATION WAS SPECTACLE (food, sights, shopping & strolling), etc... All A++. Plaka is the old town where almost everyone should stay! We stayed on the 4th floor in 402, which had 3 beds for the 4 of us. 2 were pullouts, but once again, don't judge! --- it was perfedt for what we needed! There was a terrific shower + refrigerator and microwave. I STRONGLY suggest Juilus' hotel over a typical airbnb, where u have no interface with anyone (in case there are problems OR you just need good advice). The big hotels are not in Plaka so u will spend time and money getting there. Plus they are more expensive in most cases. BTW- The 5% is just because nothing is 100% perfect (when on a family budget), but this place is ad close as one could hope for when traveling oversees!

2024年の年末に3泊しました。 ブティックホテルで、フロントに人が要る時間が限られていますが、事前に、ドアのロック解除の方法や人が不在の時にチェックインする方法などもメールで連絡をくれます（鍵は、ナンバーロック式のセーフティボックスで受け渡しできます）ので、不便はありませんでした。 日中はフロントにJuliaさんがいらっしゃいまして、非常に丁寧・フレンドリーに接してくださいます。不在時も、メール・Whatup等のメッセージアプリでコミュニケーションを丁寧にとってくださるので楽です。 エレベーターが狭く、同時に複数人がバッグを持って登れないので、その点はやや不便です。 また、部屋はそれほど大きくなく、家族4人（夫婦＋学生2名）で泊りましたが、2つのソファーベッドをエキストラベッドで使う形でした。 面白かったのが、最初にお湯が出なくて焦ったのですが入り口近くのボタンを押してしばらく待つと、お湯が貯まる仕組みだったらしく、慣れればずっと熱いお湯も出て快適でした。 立地は、古代のアゴラのすぐそば、古代のアゴラに沿って並ぶ綺麗なレストランにも至近ですので、食事をする場所などには全く困りません。アクロポリスにも歩いてすぐに行けました。プラカ地区などもプラプラと散策でき、市内散策には最高です。 すこし、繁華街に近いのと、１Fのレストランが騒がしいので、遅い時間まで歌声や喧騒が聞こえました。ただ、眠れないほどのひどさではありません。 自慢の、屋上からのアクロポリスの眺めは、写真の通りで、本当に素晴らしく、夜のアクロポリスのライトアップは、「ああ、アテネに来たんだなあ」と旅情や感動を掻き立ててくれました。 総じて、家族連れで数日過ごす上では、リーズナブルでとても良いホテルです。家族連れにはお勧め。 一流ホテルのサービスや設備を期待される方は、市内からやや外れた大型国際チェーンのホテルを利用されると良いと思います。

The hotel is within walking distance from local flea markets, dinning and archeological sites which was convenient for us. The rooms were clean and beds were comfy. It’s a small hotel approx 12-14 rooms. We only saw the the guest service personnel twice. Just fyi, to conserve energy, the lights and AC only work when someone is in the room. You’ll need to place the key fob in a slot to activate the electricity. So it took the room a bit longer to cool off which was a little inconvenient after walking all day in the heat.

loud music played until 2am in the morning, can't sleep. Claimed to be temple view. However, you can not see the temple unless you open the window, stick your head outside, and turn 90 degree. No onsite manager most of the time. Also she is making things overly complicated. All the password can be printed on one page of paper, and handed out to guest in 1 minutes instead of spending 30 minutes trying to explain.

Primary reason we booked because per description on Expedia, all rooms have a kitchenette including a kettle. What we got was a very small room with no kitchenette and no kettle (kettle provided later that evening). Hotel acknowledged that description for a standard room is incorrect and offered to refund us for one night. Despite repeated assurances, a month later we have yet to see any refund. Note that the standard room is very small and comes with essentially a bed and a small table. Julius at front desk is very friendly and tried to make things right but we would not stay here again.

In the heart of Athens on Ermou St, lies a little pearl. The host is Olga and she is delightful. The lift is the smallest I’ve ever seen at just over half a square meter at best, but it is new and does the job to take you up a few flights to a very spacious, modern studio apartment. The bed is firm, sheets fresh and sitting area is very comfortable. Kitchenette comes with all the necessities and a Nespresso coffee machine. The bathroom is fabulous and the shower is absolutely brilliant and finished in black marble. Olga showed us the roof terrace which boasts views over Athens, including the Acropolis. There is a restaurant underneath but it was not noisy or smelly. In fact, the room is quiet, with only the hum of the airconditioning providing background noise. Its location is excellent, right in the heart of Athens. While the area has some graffiti etc, it is quite safe to walk the streets at night. Highly recommended!

Athens hidden gem

If you are comparing this and other hotels in the same budget range, book this one now! I traveled 2 weeks between Italy and Greece and cay say this hotel was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. From the very first impression this was great, the manager actually got out on the street and probably noticed my confused face while trying to find the correct address, then quickly check us in, showed us the room, explained everything, made sure we were good. All staff is really sympathetic, have great english and readily available through WhatsApp communication. The room we booked was ample and cozy with great decoration, I could see myself living there. There was a great bathroom, kitchenette with sink, cutlery, plate, cups, an empty frigobar but no oven or heatwave (why would anyone want to cook while in greece anyway) Really central location in Monastiraki, you can walk to pretty much all major sites, there's also metro, bus, and restaurants nearby. Despite being in a busy location, soundproof was great, on one of the busier nights we could still hear the bustling sounds of drunk people but it was low and we could sleep no problem. There's great views from room and rooftop is A+ (pics attached) Keep in mind this is somewhat of an apart-hotel, so there's no 24/7 reception, but this was not a problem for us at all as there's a code to unlock front door and we could do self checkout early in the morning no problem

Wish it was better!

Disappointed with this stay! Hotel room flooring was in a bad shape, with flooring boards moving, leaving lots of gaps. I even scratched myself in one of the gaps. The rooftop was nice but very tiny and not much usable since there is an exterior wall painting going on at the evening and night times. Windows of the room was so bad that you can hear someone coughing on the street, even our room was on 3rd floor. Crazy part - when i informed these issues to the property manager, he brushed it off, saying that they are aware of the issue but will not take care of it until off season. Location was nice, but certainly not worth the money with all the issues! I wish they specifically mention these issues to the future guests, so others can make an informed decision.

Athens hidden gem

If you are comparing this and other hotels in the same budget range, book this one now! After travelling 2 weeks between Italy and Greece and cay say this hotel was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. From the very first impression this was great, the manager actually got out on the street and probably noticed my confused face while trying to find the correct address, then quickly checked us in, showed us the room, explained everything, made sure we were good. All staff is really sympathetic, have great english and readily available through WhatsApp communication. The room we booked was ample and cozy with great decoration, I could see myself living there. There was a great bathroom, kitchenette with sink, cutlery, plate, cups, an empty frigobar but no oven or heatwave (why would anyone want to cook while in greece anyway) Really central location in Monastiraki, you can walk to pretty much all major sites, there's also metro, bus, and restaurants nearby. Despite being in a busy location, soundproof was great, on one of the busier nights we could still hear the bustling sounds of drunk people but it was low and we could sleep no problem. There's great views from room and rooftop is A+ (pics attached) Keep in mind this is somewhat of an apart-hotel, so there's no 24/7 reception, but this was not a problem for us at all as there's a code to unlock front door and we could do self checkout early in the morning no problem
