The lobby and outside area was very nice and looked extremely elegant. Beautiful decor and marble flooring. I was excited. But then I got to my room. It reeked of cigarettes even tho it was a non smoking room. The carpet had not been vacuumed. There was bits a pieces of food I think all over the floor. Strange mystery stains and what looked like blood (I’ll try to include a picture). The elevator was disgusting. It was dingy and had awful things carved into the walls of it. There were constantly people just standing around inside and outside. Very sketchy looking people. I’m not one to tell people where to hang out, but it was obvious that they were there for certain reasons other than staying at the hotel (if you know what I mean). I did not feel safe there at all and considered going to a different hotel but I couldn’t due to money reasons. The staff was very kind and accommodating though. But I couldn’t help but think I was gonna get mugged by the people outside the hotel every time I left.

Need to be cleaner... roach in the first room on the bed. Second room big red stain on floor and curtains had stains... police every night....

The mattress was absolutely horrible! The condition of the hotel was very poor. Bleach stained furniture, stains on the carpet, elevator panels needed replaced. Everything was old and poorly maintained. I will never stay there again. If you’re considering it, and like a run down Days Inn or a Motel 6, then this is good for you. If not, this is definitely not the place for you.

I had what I needed like a good sleep and bathroom with shower. However, this facility deserves a deep cleaning and remodeling. Smokey smell everywhere especially in the elevator and halls. Fixtures and wallpaper are loose or coming off. Staff was very kind and attentive. Breakfast was very meager.

Pictures do not match. Had to which rooms. First room couldn’t even walk in when I opened door was hit with a hot mildew smell and carpet was dirty with black stains red spots that look like blood. First, hotel staffs were kind and had no problem talking with them. The problem is with the owner/management. Hotel needs some renovation/upgrade. The pictures of the room are deceiving because it looked different. When I arrived at the room, it smelled weird. The bathroom had hairs, indicating it wasn’t cleaned. Since none of the phones were working, I had to pack all my stuff and went to the front lobby to change the room. Second room didn’t have significant faults but the room still smelled weird. The overall feeling in the room was uncomfortable due to uncleanliness. Breakfast was complete disappointment. Owner was definitely being stingy with no protein (egg, sausage/bacon). Just waffles, fruits, breads, oatmeal, cereals, coffee, and juice. I had to get “another” breakfast. There were group of people snooping around the parking lot and bushes (who knows what they were doing). I would pay little more for cleaner, safer, and peace of mind.

Upon arriving at the location, we were unable to unload under the awning due to heavy traffic caused by the rain. Cars were sitting idling, and some were parked. Later, I discovered that one of the vehicles belonged to a staff member. When I entered the lobby, I saw a "potential" guest sitting with a full-grown pit bull in the dining area. Although the lobby appeared to be nice, the smell of marijuana was strong and potent. The elevator wait was long, almost minutes, due to only one elevator (left side) working the entire weekend. The inside of the elevator was dirty, with graffiti scratches on the inside. The room I stayed in was dingy, with a dirty tub/tile, broken light switch in the bathroom, mold on the ceiling, dirty hygiene bottles, no toilet paper holders, wallpaper peeling from the wall, and burn marks on the rugs. The actual shower handle broke off when my son tried to take a shower. The odor of cigarettes was present throughout the room. On more than one occasion, I asked for towels and was denied, being told there weren't any available. I had to use my own bleach cleaner and disinfectant to clean everything enough for my own comfort. I chose this property based on my great experience at a Sonesta Suites in Jacksonville a few years ago. However, this experience was an EPIC FAIL, and I would never choose or recommend this location. Should management care to see them, I am more than willing to share pictures.
