The location, scenery and staff were excellent aspects of the stay and the only reason we would consider returning. However, the bedrooms need some attention. The bedside tables, shower area and curtains let down the value of the room and were not pleasant to look at. We hope some TLC could go into the rooms because we would love to return if this was the case. Thank you

Nice setting, parking is in a separate carpark to units you are a few minutes out of town but cafe is on site. Pretty and peaceful. Will book again.

Nice place

Just stayed one night. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Accommodations were comfortable, clean and well maintained. Lovely to sit on the patio and look out at the fairway.

We had a decent stay at this property, the decor is a bit outdated but it was clean and comfortable. We did try to find breakfast in the morning but there was literally no one around and the cafe was empty and there was no staff around - we did mention we wanted breakfast at check in so it was really odd. We ended up leaving without breakfast. So that was a bit disappointing. Otherwise it was good enough for a quick 1 night stop.

A curious property. We stayed for one night on our way back from the far North of NZ. No on-site dining of any kind was available: no breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The "Cafe" was closed. Our room/studio was quiet, with a separate bedroom featuring the best mattress of our long trips to NZ. The main room had a ton of floor space, with very little furniture, and a huge electric massage chair in one corner. Nothing bad, just peculiar! Double french doors opened to a small terrace (table, 2 chairs) overlooking a fairway of the on-site 9-hole golf course. Green fees ($20/pp) were included with our stay, so we played a round on the same day we arrived. No need to book a tee-time or anything. Rented a hodge-podge bag of clubs for $20. Loads of fun! So, no Cafe on site, but there were several decent spots within a 5-10 minute drive.

The staff accomadated us really well with our extra request. Restaurant was really flexible with our meal changes and also delicious food. We thoroughly appreciated the peacefulness coming back from the buisy city. Beautiful garden's aswell!

lovely quiet place...

As the name already indicates,the Northridge Country Lodge is in a quiet park like setting . My room was rather small and even though it had a double bed, it was meant for one person. It had only one cup, one glas etc. The restaurant/cafe was closed ,so one had to drive to Silverdale for a meal, which is a little inconvenient. Otherwise this is a lovely place.

Was a great place to stay, but quite annoyed with the bathroom. Had a shower area that would not drain. the floor grate was blocked so there was excess water on the floor, towels and clothes .

Very clean and tidy room, however the shower wasn't very good. The shower head was spraying badly, and the grout in the tiles was breaking up under my feet. Parking area and surrounding foliage was quite messy. Staff were very nice and I did appreciate the call to check when I'd be arriving as I was having a late day.

The room was perfectly clean, it was fine! The shower in the bathroom had cracked floor tiles which isn’t a good look. The hairdryer wouldn’t work and needed a new adapter which was supplied on request. We had difficulties with the tv which seemed to have to have the remote pointed at it from directly in front. However when we checked in, we were asked if we wanted to have breakfast, for $25.00 each. We said yes, and assumed that we were paying for a continental/ cooked breakfast. (There is no fruit option we discovered )I had already written that I had dietary restrictions as I’m a coeliac, however the only GFO option was the cooked option and so the bread was omitted! I queried he baked beans and just assumed the breakfast sausage was g/f. My mistake! Suffered for the next 30 hours. Would we go back? Not a chance! Also we were there for a wedding function, and apparently there was a 15% discount. But!! because my booking was from Expedia they wouldn’t honour it! Said we should have booked direct!
